Wuoooh! Thanks a lot for the link! I really wanted to see Stan talking And oh my he is the cutest thing. I imagined him to have kinda nasal voice, tho. A little like SA's. Funny cuz his voice sounds like the kind of voice I had in mind if Wheezy were voiced by male actor. Husky and low. I have seen that Goofy short before, too! That guy is soo cool. Does he have a name? Anyways, I haven't seen Pooh and friends for such a long time! I don't remember if it was old one or new one I saw... Stereotyping weasels have happened for such a long time, so I guess we just have to bear it. we like them anyways:) And animation production that involves oversea production does have problem sometimes(not only Asia)...because of communication and price and time...etc. Not all of them, but many studios who does overseas prod. make animators work like factory workers. I think I've seen the worst from Buzz Lightyear TV show... Ah so many things in one reply. Sorry. Thanks again!

It seems that generally weasels have medium to high nasal voices, don't they? I guess it seems slimier that way. Technically he ought to have a British accent... but the stories have gotten very Americanized. And the one in the Goofy short has the lowest voice in a weasel I've ever heard... besides Wooster, of course. It almost seems inappropriate... I've named him "Father", by the way, because originally I thought he was wearing a priest's outfit in the last scene. I dunno why... he's actually a (really bad) Justice of the Peace. Can anyone think of a better name?
I didn't watch the TV show when I was a kid- I was watching Darkwing Duck and Goof Troop. Instead, I watched the original theatrical shorts of Pooh, without the transitions, on VHS. I much prefer those over the TV show and onward. It's weird... I didn't watch a whole lot of episodes of most of the Disney Afternoon shows, but I remember most of their theme songs... I must've caught them randomly while I was switching channels or something.
Asians can animate in an American style, though... The Lion King 1 1/2 is proof of that.
I read Aesop's fables recently, and even those have bad things to say about weasels! This is ancient Greece we're talking about here! Old habits die hard.

Justin. Is that a good name for him?

Hmm... I don't think so... I mean, I get where you're going with it, playing on the word "Justice", but don't you think his name ought to be descriptive? I do like the idea of being ironic, though.

Yeah...it was just the first thing that came to mind...he doesn't really even look like a Justin, does he? Gimme a day or two, I'll think of something better...unless you come up with something first. Did you want his name to be "Father"?

Not really. I only named him that because I thought he wore a priest outfit at the end for God knows what reason. How are you doing with naming the salesman one? You can name the four on the front cover of the first issue of the Roger Rabbit comic book series too, if you want. I don't want to name them all myself... they ought to be shared!

YAY!! For some reason, I thought you'd already named the salesman...I will get back on it, then!

oh I used to watch this show every morning^^ I only saw part one for now(gotta go out soon)but I like that pair ! Australian Disney weasels...nice addition to library of weasels And maybe they enjoy having bosses with power? lol Guess this also started form the Toad stroy... And do you know that guy named Dijon in Duck Tales movie? The one about the lamp... In Encyclopedia of Disney's animated characters, author puts Dijon and native workers under weasel category. Those workers those look like weasel but Dijon looks like a dog(long ears...)What do you think? @_@

I can understand why one would consider him a weasel (the basic head shape is there), but those Goofy-like floppy ears definitely make him a dogface like so many minor characters in Disney comics. INDUCKS made a similar mistake by labeling some minion of Pete's as a weasel, but he had those floppy ears too. As for the native workers, they look far too similar to Dijon to be weasels. I mean, who's to say that their headgear isn't covering up their floppy ears? Besides, their eyes are way too big, and I have yet to see any weasels (besides a couple of the ones in Weasel Tech) with really big eyes.
I don't have a copy of the movie, so I had to see it on YouTube, by the way. I don't have any DuckTales stuff yet (besides a couple of comics, I think...)

Okay, I've found yet another one: his name is Sidney. coa.inducks.org/character.php?c=Sidney&view=1He's a villain from this series of comics called "Mickey and the Sleuth", which is about Mickey pretty much playing Dr. Watson's role (despite the presence of a full-fledged Dr. Watson character) with an incompetent Sherlock Holmes parody named "The Sleuth". So far Sidney looks pretty generic... but that's the curse of pre-WFRR weasels. EDIT: Okay, here are all the available images of him from INDUCKS: smg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/Sidney/?action=view¤t=sidney1.pngAlso, my copy of that Chip n' Dale comic with Pop Weasel has arrived. I'll make scans when the second one comes... Thinking about it, there does seem to be a bit of confusion between long-nosed dogfaces and weasels... but I think the main way to tell them apart is to look for floppy ears or large round eyes. Weasels almost always have two-toned fur (and most dogfaces seem to have no fur at all!), squinty eyes, and tiny ears. It seems to me that generally, the rounder the weasels' eyes are, the stupider they are. Or at least cuter or sillier... in Beanie's case, it shows that he's nicer.

Hmm... kinda funny-looking, aren't they? I can't be perfectly certain that they're weasels, although they do have key features. The first looks kind of like a cross between a weasel and a scotty dog, for one thing. He's kinda scary, with his religious fervor and all... The second comes very close to being a dogface with that flesh-tone fur and human-like hair, but he does have those pointed ears. So his last name is Weasel? That would be enough to identify him as such.
Could you tell me what series these come from, what country, and what issue?

Yeah, I am. Unless you can scan the entirety of your copies? That'd make it a heck of a lot easier for me, so I'd really appreciate it. Translating it would be nice too, although having both an unaltered version and a translated version would be even better.
They're both really recent stories, so it shouldn't be too hard to get...
So the second one's last name is Weasel, then?

Alrighty then... he's on the list. Goodness, he's the most recent Disney weasel we've found!
Alright, if it'd be too much trouble... although I'm sure you could find a scanner someplace. But that's only an option, and if you don't wanna do it...

Just wanted to say that I'm nearly done with the latest version of my guide to the extra weasels. Once I get through the House of Mouse episodes, and read the second Pop Weasel comic when it arrives, I'll put it up. There's are a LOT that I haven't discussed yet...
Unfortunately, it's gonna be some time before I get all the Roger Rabbit, Br'er Weasel and Sidney comics... so it won't be (presumably) complete for a long time.
