I hate to triple post, but I really would like this to be further discussed.
I noticed that the Roger Rabbit comic "The Trouble with Toons!" gives the owner/manager/whatever of the Ink & Paint Club a full name: Duke Malloy. Surely he would be a valuable character to use in fanfiction?

Are there any pics of what Duke Malloy looks like or are we allowed to give him the looks we see him as?

"Allowed"? What, do I look like some sort of bible to you? ?_?; He's in this story, so the artists did give him a certain look... img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/The%20Trouble%20with%20Toons/trouble_with_toons2.pngimg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/The%20Trouble%20with%20Toons/trouble_with_toons3.pngPersonally, I don't really care all that much about what he looks like, because none of the comic books care about what R.K. Maroon or his twin brother C.B. Maroon looks like. They keep changing. I mean, Duke Malloy's a fat, balding, wrinkly old man. Not much to see here. So... if we're sticking to the two different clubs thingy (which is still kinda awkward), I suppose Duke would own both of them. Marty, the stagehand that talks to Jessica in the ride, sounds like a toon to me, but I guess that's because of the slightly exaggerated accent. Any thoughts on what would explain the radically different locations and appearances of what we see in Car Toon Spin and in the movie?

When I typed "allowed" I meant as in did he already have a look or did his name just come up with no look (character design) at all. These pics help, thank you.
...They also changed Jessica's dress, btw....
For your question, I guess it's because they figured no one would notice. >_< They did something like that in a Harry Potter movie. The new one too. With Hagrid's dog, Fang. He was brown whent they were getting off the train and me and my friend were wondering why he had a new dog, thinking maybe Fang died, but then on the spider sceane, he's black with floppy ears again and the brown dog in NEVER in the whole film again. >_<

Well, uh... you coulda just said "or do they never show his face?" or something along those lines.
Gee, I had never noticed that her dress was purple in this! It still suits her, though. As for C.B. Maroon, it seems that whoever did the graphic novel adaptation of the film didn't know what R.K. Maroon's actor looked like, and so the artists for Resurrection of Doom based C.B. Maroon off of THAT, and then the Roger Rabbit series didn't bother to look at either the film or RoD. In the end, it'd be best if C.B. Maroon looked like R.K. Maroon did in the film, since that's the canonical version and C.B. is R.K.'s twin brother.
Fang there is an example of a continuity error. I think the Imagineers that worked on Car Toon Spin were having too much fun designing toon architecture to remember that the Ink & Paint Club was supposed to be human-made. Another example of them not thinking. I'm still somewhat open to the possibility that the Ink & Paint Club is half toon building in the back rooms, making it possible for the back entrance to be in Anaheim while the front is in Hollywood. BUT, that doesn't explain how Jessica's dressing room is so different. I guess it's two different ones then...
Man... these Imagineers had NO idea how confusing this would be for über-fans like us. You're right, Lynx, they probably thought we wouldn't notice. We think too much...
