No idea. He'd have to be a shape shifter, in any case. And capable of altering his voice dramatically.

Well he was, since he could change his hands into anvils and in a saw... unless that's a random toon trick...

It's not a toon trick. Have you seen any other cartoons with toon hands changing from anvils to saws??? I sure didn't.
I think he's a shape-shifter.

His true form is in the shape of...The Anti-Christ : |
Aha joking but he does remind of him for some reason, but yes anyways,Im pretty sure he's a shapeshifter. What he really looks like beside that is beyong me,I'm pretty sure his colour is yellow though for the most part, since we only really see him like that. And in a why I kinda think of him as a machine character,he reminds me of those yellow machines that destroy stuff, even though I highly doubt he'd look anything like one.

I used to see him as a malleable yellow blob and nothing more but those red eyes and orange hair, with transformation abilities. But you get a much, much closer idea as to what he truly looked like in the graphic novel Resurrection of Doom. In it, it shows what he was before he became Judge Doom: a toon named Baron von Rotten who played villains. He apparently was some dude in a black outfit and cape, his head being the shape of an upright football with that orange tuft. His eyes were huge and red, of course. What made him a shapeshifter to a certain extent is that he was a master of disguise- he was the Lon Chaney of toons, meaning he could completely alter his appearance, apparently using makeup, paint, and- get this- photo retouching equipment. It's possible he used a multiplane camera as well. The only problem is that he gets pink skin instead of the yellow I expected. It would seem that they based his appearance more on what he looked like in the movie adaptation comic book than in the movie itself. The only way that could be explained is that when his cel was inked and painted for resurrection, the ink-and-paint lady that did it colored him wrong. For the curious, here are my scans: smg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/The%20Resurrection%20of%20Doom/?action=view¤t=resurrection_of_doom_cover1.png

Okay, for those who haven't gotten the chance to see what Resurrection of Doom says he looks like, I made this for people's convenience. It's some key panels that discuss Doom's origins and clearly show his appearance (warning to those who haven't read it- there may be spoilers): img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/Judge%20Doom/doom1.pngimg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/Judge%20Doom/doom2.pngimg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/Judge%20Doom/doom3.pngimg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/Judge%20Doom/doom4.pngimg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/Judge%20Doom/doom5.pngimg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/Judge%20Doom/doom6.pngAnd here's some from the earlier graphic novel adaptation of the movie (which is quite obviously based on an earlier draft of the script) for comparison: img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/Judge%20Doom/doom7.pngimg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/Judge%20Doom/doom8.pngAs you can see in the first one, he looks like the malleable blob I had pictured him being. In fact, with that silhouette thing going on, he looks a lot like the Phantom Blot, except a lot skinnier. I find it strange that they based Doom's appearance in RoD on the final pages of the adaptation- it leads me to believe that RoD is really more of a sequel to the adaptation than the movie itself. Speaking of which, here's that adaptation in its entirety: smg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/WFRR%20graphic%20novel/?action=view¤t=wfrr_gn_cover1.pngThis is of particular interest for us Toon Patrol fans because it stars them in a different version of the story. In fact, it's the only appearance they ever make in a comic book. It's interesting to note that while the artists draw them quite accurately, the colorists didn't care as much. The coloring is so inconsistent and so often inaccurate it's embarrassing. Wheezy is the worst- they NEVER color his fur blue or grey and color it brown instead, and the color of his clothes is never the same, even from panel to panel! Greasy, interestingly enough, is drawn with his alternative outfit, with a lighter shade of green and pinstriped pants. Psycho is drawn especially cute, and Wheezy looks particularly crotchety and ornery. Stupid, weirdly, is almost always frowning and doesn't appear to have any childlike innocence at all- in fact, he looks downright mean. Those who get excited by the guns they use will be interested in the completely different set of guns seen in it. This time, Psycho gets the tommy gun!! Watch out... There is of course the infamous Pig-Head scene in it, where Stupid and Psycho come close to speaking complete sentences. It's interesting to see the shift in the amount of lines each of them get, especially since they don't appear by Doom's side in the Acme Warehouse scene, where Marvin was murdered and we first witness the terrible power of Dip. Greasy I think only laughs, and I don't think Wheezy says anything- not even in passing! I figure it's safe to say that in this version, they ALL get Dipped. And right in plain sight, too! Thank God they didn't make it as horrible as the death scene in RoD...

Woww!!!! I wanted to see these comics soooo bad!! Thank you X 100 +3 (3278-25). REally. Thank you for other comics as well! eh-hem...well Both comics(WFRR and RoD) are really interesting... Roger is alright, and Jessica looks younger but cute. As you pointed out, in WFRR comic, colors are really off with our weasel friends...especially Wheezy! At least Psycho does look cute here. I think he's the only one who looks alright. SA is like sooo evil in this one! yow. And doom in RoD is so freaky...his background story is kinda surprising. So he always wore makeup even when he was toon...and toons can create toon?! And TP had brothers? I saw so many stuff today. haha! and yeah That DIP scene really is something! Again, Thanks for sharing

Well, it would seem that the only way to revive a Dipped toon is to photograph a cel of them, which is somewhat different from the theory in Tiny Toon Adventures where toons are born simply after being drawn. Does being Dipped complicate the process of rebirth? Also, I figure since the Toon Patrol members are so different from each other, that "Slithy" (which the name I've given to the droopy-nosed, purple-suited weasel) actually uses brothers as an affectionate term- that is, "brother weasels", like black people and Christians.
I've got other scanned comics with additional weasels, if you want to see them. I'm trying really hard to spread the word about them.
