actually, in indiana Jones 4, Mutt wears almost the same costume as Slimy, and the time period is the same. I agree about the rest, tho. i bet Greasy's little stunt near the end was originally gonna b Flasher.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull takes place in the 1950's,- 1957 to be specific, according to Wikipedia- so sorry, Slimy is still in the wrong time period. Hate to be the bringer of bad news, but... Does anyone else know what being a "flasher" means? I don't know if I want to explain it.

I've always thought it was a person who walks around in a trenchcoat and abruptly shows his. . . really-really-not-wanted-to-be-seen spot. Hairspray had a flasher on it as comidic relief (or something), but does it mean something else also?

No, that's what I was thinking. That's why Flasher's clothes are so shabby! If you look closely, he isn't actually wearing any pants. He's only wearing the pant legs tied on with rope.

Well, Greasy's the only one who's truly wearing any pants, unless you count some of the others outside of the movie...

Oh, I knew what you meant- it's just that his lack of real pants is a strong indication of what he does. That, and relatively speaking, it's only the fact that he pretends to wear pants that makes it icky. Weird, really, when you consider that most of the others are technically going around half-naked. Toons are weird that way. It's been discussed as to why Greasy's the only one wearing any pants, but that has to do with the way he treats women.

I would explain why some people believe that, and what I mean, but I don't want psychoangel to puke again.

Then PM me, silly. And don't worry about me. If reading how 'it' works in my science book doesn't bother me, then I'm good to go.
