Hey, I've heard that there were 2 more weasels in the toon patrol. I don't know why they deleted but those 2 were Flasher and Slimey. Does any of you think they should have not deleted those cool weasels?

I don't think so. It could have been cool to have 7 weasels. Makes you wonder how their personalities would look like.

They were not suitable for the audience or something like that. Flasher's name gives it already, and Slimy would've been an ordeal to animate, I guess...

Those two deleted weasels were inappropriate for young viewers!! But maybe we can put them in our fan fics?

Slimey pukes slime and Flasher likes to show inappropriate body parts to the public, so I kinda hope you guys don't actually make them... you know... do what they do. Yuck.

I'm glad they aren't in the movie. If they were, then some lines and on-screen time of our beloved 5 weasels would naturally have been cut to compensate for needed attention that two more additional weasels would require. Seven weasels would be too many; there wouldn't be as much time to get in touch with each weasel's personality. Don't get me wrong; the deleted weasels are cool, but five weasels is fine enough. And Slimey wouldn't really fit in the movie because his clothes and hair style aren't historically accurate. The movie is set in the '40s, but he's dressed like a greaser from the '50s.

So, a weasel who pukes and sneezes slime is inappropriate, but it's great to have a weasel who smokes non-stop? Lol, j/k.
They were both cool, but honestly, they wouldn't really match/fit with the rest of the Patrol.

Too true, Wheezy! ;D And i was thinking; if Flasher, as his name implies, were to flash his you-know-what, how'd that even work, considering all the weasels, save Greasy, get by with not wearing any pants to begin with. They're animals. Their fur coats are sorta their clothing.

I saw a picture of slimey. He was scary looking. If they did use him i hope he would take the place of smarty and have smarty dieing of laughter.

I sort of feel bad for Slimey, he's puking and sneezing slime 24/7. I mean, not like when people have a sinus infection and you have to spit a bit of mucus or something, but like, half a gallon of green yucky stuff is always running out of his mouth. Ew.

i listened to the commentary on the 15th anniversary DVD and the screenwiter said that they were deleted b/c it was too hard to animate 7 weasels, and that Slimy did NOT puke green slime, he "always had snot running out of his nose". more info here - psychoangel51402.webs.com/outcasts.htm(this information is straight from the source and contains no speculation, btw)

Well, it's definitely a severely HUGE amount of snot, that's for sure. And more than half of it is phlegm coming out of his mouth! Either way, I think it's awfully gross, which I believe is the reason they were willing to get rid of him to reduce the amount of weasels to animate, over all the others. I think another problem with him is that he represents a stereotype of the 50's- a greaser- which wouldn't have been appropriate for 1947.
Do you know what "flasher" means, by the way? Because that's definitely not G-rated...

Yeah, it was a good thing those weasels were dropped from the movie, and those reasons are all good ones. 1. Too many weasels to draw and keep track of. 2. Slimy's costume and design doesn't fit the time period. 3. Spitting snot is just really gross. 4. Flasher would've raised the movie's rating. 5. Time and budget constraints. 6. Two extra weasels would cut into the little screen time for the other weasels.
