I know this has been discussed before, but I just had to bring it up again. My thought is that Smart Guy is especially cruel to Stupid. He frequently uses Stupid as his punching bag/stress reliever. He would deck the others a few times, but he abuses Stupid the most. What do ya'll think?

I don't see why not. I've seen others agree, if I remember.
It's sort of like Smarta** is the alpha, while Stupid is the omega, or at the bottom of the pecking order. Like I've said before, there are several instances where a smarter, smaller weasel ranks above a larger, stronger-looking and stupider weasel. This leads me to believe that intelligence is more desirable than size or strength among weasels, mainly because a smarter weasel could easily take advantage of someone with lesser intelligence.
Of course, Smarta** would have to be careful, or else Stupid might cry... XP I'm not sure if he would punch him so much as wallop him over the head with a frying pan. Actually, he does just that several times in Car Toon Spin! So Disney themselves have a similar opinion.

I agree that he is pretty cruel. I mean...he walloped them all with a toilet plunger (of all things!). Of course, it was to get them to stop laughing, but still. And then he stuck it to Stupid's face...doesn't he know where that thing has been?! XD
I don't see him just out and out beating up on Stupid with fists and all that. But I do agree with Fatal that he'd whack him with a frying pan or something for being particularly dense. Stupid is the 'brainless' muscle, who just does what he's told to do for the most part.
I, personally, see his relationship with each of the others as a bit different.
With Wheezy, he'd kind of verbally push him around more than anything. Why I think this, I don't know, but I do. Wheezy just strikes me as the 'silent dangerous' one.
Greasy I could see him actually getting into an out and out brawl with on occasion. Like they both are chasing after the same girl, they get into it and the next thing you know, there's fur flying. Greasy has that brash macho attitude and I don't see him letting things just slide where SA is concerned. I see him challenging Smartass for leadership at least a few times, and promptly getting whacked around for it.
Psycho is too crazy to try and beat up on and most insults would probably just go over his head. He gets pushed around a bit, but not really beaten up on or anything. I could see him getting into trouble and SA lounging on the couch yelling at him, but not caring enough to jump up and actually stop him.

I imagine that there's something of a hierarchy within the Toon Patrol, simply because it seems like weasels like having a powerful leader, and if the leader is a different species, one of the weasels will be second-in-command. I also imagine that the hierarchy was much more pronounced (and unbalanced) early on in the Toon Patrol's formation, because they were just getting to know each other. I agree- I've pretty much always imagined Greasy as the one who tries to be top dog from time to time, fighting over the same girl and whatnot. (In fact, rather coincidentally, that's a main subplot in the fanfic I'm currently working on...) The balance between would become more even later on, I think. So since I think the smartest weasels tend to be on top, dumber weasels would tend to be at the bottom. This doesn't necessarily mean that Stupid is way, way below everyone else, or that they're not friends- it just seems that weasels have a pack mentality.
I don't think Psycho is completely oblivious- I've always imagined him like a hyperactive child: constantly seeking attention, eager-to-please, immature... so perhaps if SA pushed him hard enough, he'd feel miserable. I picture Psycho trying to be a "good boy" (in the sense that he's obedient), and getting upset when he's scolded. The scolding would have to pretty blatant, though...
Do you really think that Wheezy is the type to bottle up his reaction to verbal abuse and have the potential to flip out? That's what you seem to be saying... I admit, it's easy for me to imagine.

That's what I'm saying exactly.
Wheezy seems like the type to just keep everything repressed and have a sudden explosive outburst. Although the way he shot the doorknob off Eddie's office in the movie seems to be a possible outlet for that. ;D
(I -think- it was him with the machine gun there. I know SA was the one talking to Eddie through the door.)

I checked- and yes, he is the one with the tommy gun. That's one thing that definitely makes him distinctive. I can understand that whole repressed feelings thing... everyone imagines him being moody and gloomy, and those sort of people are often the types to keep things inside.
So... it seems we've got two Toon Patrol members who need to relieve stress.

About Wheezy: Maybe that's why he smokes. About Smart Guy: True, Smart Guy can be...cruel, but downright hateful is not him at all. I'll say he's an "alpha" like Fatal said, but that's pretty much all I think.

Then Wheezy must be REALLY stressed since he smokes THAT much...
I definitely don't think SA would be hateful- at least not towards other weasels. After all, I've always imagined that weasels stick together. Now, I think the only motivation for wanting to destroy Toontown that makes sense is a hatred for other toons, though... If he wants to be a good leader, he would know the limit to how cruel he can be to avoid mutiny or making another member freak out- either by becoming violent (Wheezy or Greasy) or crying (Stupid or Psycho).

Once again, I agree with Fatal. Smart Guy is not hateful and for him to be a good leader, he would have to know their limit.

You know the way a few mean folks make their subordinates feel like they can't live without them. I figure that's what SG does with Stupid. He's like "I took you in when no one else would, so you owe me."
Smart Guy needs to be cruel in order to have a character arc in my story. He needs to learn that he can't treat his underlings like objects.

I feel that the Toon Patrol's relationships were unsteady early on, so I'm doing something similar in the fanfiction I'm working on as well.
