Hmmm... well, I just don't know... the comic just arrived, but those panels we've seen already are all we see of that, uh... weasel. The story stars Rick Flint. If you look at the first issue here ( smg.photobucket.com/albums/v428/tymime/Weasels/The%20Trouble%20with%20Toons/), you'll see that Eddie and Roger have known each other for a while now, and that Rick Flint stands in for him now that Eddie can't go case-solving with Roger. Clearly this indicates that the story takes place after WFRR. I think we all agree that Roger met Eddie for the first time in WFRR... So unless by some bizarre circumstance he came back to life- such as an old model sheet being photographed- the weasel we see can't be Smarta**. For those wondering, though, the woman in the green dress, Nellie, happens to be the president of Roger's fan club. Apparently she was invited to meet him, and Roger forgot, which made Nellie decide to go looking for him in Toontown. A devious gossip columnist gets news of this, and suspects Roger of cheating on Jessica. That weasel, whoever he is, seems to be working for the columnist, and brings Nellie to her place so she can blackmail Roger. If it is Smarta**, I can't help but wonder just how in the world he came back to life. Were the artists aware that he was Dipped? I'm not sure how important it is to scan the entire story now. If anyone's still interested, even if they won't be getting any more weasel goodness, I'll put it up anyway.

Well, just remember that you've already seen all the panels he's in, and that there's a chance that he isn't Smarta**. I of course would have no believable explanation as to why a weasel would copy Smarta** so much...

He might be a wannabe. You know, like how some girls are. They copy everything the popular girl does.

Oh, ok.

But that's so unlikely... there may be quite a few weasels who look alike, but that seems to be representative of the most popular outfit. Smarta** stands out so much that to copy him so exactly is really bizarre... I don't know if anyone remembers, but there was a similar phenomenon in this one frame from Bonkers: xopbku.aidf.org/imgs/ofmice.jpgThe only thing that makes it NOT Greasy is the color of his clothes. Unless he had more than one suit, which I doubt. Toons rarely change their outfits.

He almost looks like Greasy.

You got a point...
Maybe the artist were lazy. You never know.

That's... really all of that weasel? I had hoped for a little more.
I'm still interested to see the rest of the comic, even though it has no more weasels.

Well... there are evil pigs... and you understand what the heck is going on. And weirdly enough, they suggest that a toon can melt in the hot sun. ...Which doesn't make any sense- shouldn't their paint be dry? Maybe they'd get pale and cracked, but they wouldn't melt...
In fact, I wonder just how much the fact that they're made out of ink and paint actually applies to their physical nature... are they just as perishable as a painting? They can be dissolved by solvents, after all...

If your takling about solvents Alway remember this always thought there wasnt a way to kill a toon? Turpentine, Acetone, Benzene I can think about how bad that would stink. I think it would be like mixing bleach and ammonia bad news.

I'm not sure if this is technically correct, but I was using solvents in the sense of liquids that dissolve paint and film (dirt, as opposed to movies). I'm sure just about any paint dissolver could do damage. That's why I wonder if other ways of damaging paint could effect a toon.

I thought you were talking about the movie my bad. And about useing other ways of damaging paint that could effect a toon I could not tell you what that is will have to look in on it
