okay...i don't really know anything about vaudeville though...=U.U=
she's gotta be an actress, though - it's significant later in the story...

Just about every Golden Era Hollywood comedian got their start in vaudeville, from Buster Keaton to Abbot and Costello. I'm sure you could learn about all of their early careers... there's probably lots of books about it, as well as lot of information, articles, documentaries, and such about the individual comedians.

How likely is it that a fancy two-disc set would be at the library, though? I think you'd have better luck getting a cheap used copy off of Amazon. I've gotten plenty of used DVDs for real cheap there, and they're almost always in great condition.
