Okay, this is just a topic that i've always been interested in. (boring me, eh?) What's the weather like where everybody is? (I actually made a thread like this on another board, and it has gotten a good amount of responses there, so i decided to post one here, too.)

I guess I'll start. It was very hot and muggy today. Bright outside! But the sunset was wonderful; very deep pinks and yellows.

We might as well ask how the missus is while we're at it... XD XP

Well, for the past several weeks, it's been pretty hot and sweaty here in good ol' Sunny California. It's such that you could go without a blanket at night and just sleep on the sheets.

This may sound weird, but I prefer winter over summer, rain over sunshine, and an overcast sky over a clear one. The ocean breezes actually bother to reach us then, and the front lawn isn't dead. Not only that, it's a lot easier to get warm in the cold than it is to get cool in the heat.
...And winter has Cwithmash!! XP

Yeah, i knew it'd be hot weather where you are, my fellow Californian! xD So you prefer winter to summer weather? Me, i love summer weather; heat doesn't affect me that much. Winter on the other hand, is different. I have a difficult time coping with temperature drops.

I blame my Scandinavian and German roots for my preferences. I'm also part Mexican, but I seem to have mostly gotten the tanning gene.

I mostly like the activities of summer, particularly free concerts. But in winter, I find that there's twice as many things that I wanna do.
Of course, now that I'm taking college classes twice a week, I may still have a lot of free time but it's not enough for going places.

It's funny; I'm the only one in my family who likes the heat. I was the only one in this paticular household, including those deceased, that was born in CA. My mom and brother were born up north on the west coast, and my dad and his parents, the northern part of the east coast. I'm the only one who comes from a warm state. My dad preferred 62 degrees, and my ideal temperature is 85! XD

That might explain it- you were born warm, and thus were born to like being warm! XP

That was always my conclusion. Lol! The air feels nice and cool outside right now. Dang, i wish the moon was out so i could use my telescope! Oh, and how is the missus, Fatal? xD lol

Ditto on that. We already posted a lot here, and how many more posts can one do in a single night about the weather? Lol! XD Others will probably post here too, when they're online.

today was sunshiney, but it did get really rainy & windy & overcast at one point.

Rainy and windy? That sounds like winter weather... errr... to me, anyways. xP Today was the same as yesterday; very, very hot and humid.

It sucks. When i step outside at night, i can smell fall in the air. Sure, it's a crisp, pleasant scent, but i hate seeing summer end.
