I am drawn to wfrr for many reasons. One of my great loves for it is the time period. I have always loved the 40s: the music, the clothes, the cars, artwork, cartoons, ect. What about you guys?

Yes, that´s right! Everithing in the 40´s looks kind of elegant and people were friendlier and not so mad as today.

Yeah! Lots of class! It's funny, when i was a little toddler i had a clear image of what Hollywood looked like, and to me it was the 40's style. I guess i must have picked it up from an old movie, i don't remember. And then when i went to hollywood for the first time i was disappointed since, of course, everything was modern! Theres still old buildings there naturally, but i wish it looked how it did back then.

Yeah, I live in an very old city. But if you go dowtown, it is very modern and gray and there are very huge houses and much noise. Our city was biuld in the 800 century after birth of Cristus. How old is LA, or Hollywood where you live?

800 century? Wow! I'd love to see that area. I was born in L.A. and my family and i have been to hollywood alot (especially my brother) but i actually live in anaheim. Its not too far from la, and its been around since 1857. Anaheims all modern, pretty much, unless you go to downtown anaheim. Hollywood & l.a. were founded in the 1800s i believe, but l.a. itself was actually settled in the 1700s i think.

Greasy, if you don't mind me asking, what area of Germany are you from?
The 40's look like an amazing time...well, not the war, but just the friendliness between everyone, the reduced crime (except those darned gangsters!) the clothing, music, etc...makes me kind of wish everything was that way today.

Yeah gangsterocket! You read my mind! The war would suck and some things were worse politically, but besides those aspects, it seemed like a wonderful era!
