I'm sorry if I seem distrusting to all of you guys. I really wasn't hoping for this kind of reaction when I joined (I've been interested in this site since 1 or 2 years ago, as Spikey might recall). I only joined this board to discuss about the Toon Patrol and Who Framed Roger Rabbit (which I hold dear to my heart), as well as movies and cartoons, not about my personal life. Yeah, some things might slip, but we all make mistakes. I really want you guys to trust me, as I trust you. It's not like I don't trust you guys at all, but I have to be careful. Several years ago, I was once a member of dA, and I talked about everything in my life and chatted with strangers. Bad things happened after a while, and I had to abandon my account (it's still up, I think). It's really scary to think what kind of people would look at your stuff. I mean, it wasn't just members, but everyone on the internet! I was just too naive to realize that. Well, I paid the price. Don't worry, I didn't run into any of the stalkers. I was just punished by my family members. I know it's really hard for you guys to trust me, so I'll let you in on a few things about me: 1.) I'm not too old, but I'm not that young either. Someone on this board was very close to my age, just by determining my speech pattern and behavior. Way to go, detective! 2.) I'm afraid to reveal my gender, but I guess I will give you a clue. Read everything that I have posted, whether it be short or long, interesting or boring, and it will come to you. One post has clearly given me away. 3.) I realize that The Unknown isn't a very trustful name, so I will reveal the first letter of my real name. My name begins with a 'K.' In fact, you can call me K from now on if you'd like. I won't mind. 4.) I love wolves. Yep. Perhaps one of the most beautiful creatures on Earth. 5.) As you can tell, I'm involved in Theatre. Not with the big stars, but very small theatre. Need advice? Send me a note right away! 6.) I can do impersonations. Kids enjoy the Pokemon and animal ones that I do (though Pokemon hurts my vocal cords after a while). Arnold Schwarzennagerwhatevah I'm still working on, but it's funny when I get hysterical with AH-norld (right now it's a mixture between him and an asian). Yoda, I can do. GIR from Invader Zim has nearly destroyed my vocal cords. My strongest impersonations are Happy Tree Friends characters (Lumpy is the best one), chipmunks, the exorcist thingy, and Conker and Rodent from Conker's Bad Fur Day/ Live & Reloaded (Ze Professor, meh). I am now trying to perfect Rika's "Niipaa" thing from Higurashi (it's harder than it sounds!). I hope you guys can trust me enough. Is this information fair?

Yes, but he's a very entertaining character. My favorite Lumpy moment (as well as the one that I can act out), is when he's the mail man. It's the scene where he's reading this letter that goes from happy to sad in an instant. His sudden change of emotion always cracks me up.

I understand the information thing, anyone can really read anything you write on the internet, which is why it is wise to reveal as little personal information as you can.
BTW, just by what you've wrote you seem really cool. ^^ That must be cool being involved with the theatre!

Right now I'm too busy to audition at community theatres (though I would love to). As I've said, they're not that big. The most important people that come to watch are wounded soldiers (it's a special treat for them just to be there!). I do hope to go farther in the world of acting! Who knows, I might be on the big screen! I have to work hard to accomplish that goal, though. It's a really wonderful feeling to act. I love spending all of my energy to become a character just by reading the script. Here's where the job comes in - to become that character. Their lines hold secrets, hide who they are. You have to work hard to let that character become believable. If the audience forget that the person up there is merely just an actor and see the character instead, even if it's just for a moment, it is truly rewarding. To make them feel something for that character...to make them feel happy, sad, or frightened. It's amazing what you can do in the acting world. I once played a mentally insane person (though you don't find out till later) from a short monologue by Christopher Durang at a Drama Festival. Everyday I would do something new, adding excitement to the scene. I was the only one doing a monologue in the group, so while everyone else was out socializing or playing in the pool, I would spend hours practicing (though I had practiced the scene 3 weeks before). When they would come back, and found me still practicing, they would watch from behind and observe everything that I was doing. They said that I should take a break! *laugh* Nah, I really loved practicing my scene. My teachers even had a blast! The day I performed for a small group (from different regions), they really enjoyed it and hardly had any critisism. I even had a guy chase me down the stairs to tell me that that was the best he had seen from that particular monologue! I even got to perform (as well as be the first) it again for "You've Gotta See This!" I was really happy! When I went back home, and we had our Thespians banquet (the day I got to be inducted into the Thespians Society), I was able to perform it in front of the parents. At first they laughed, but then they were dead quiet. I mean, dead silence. Afterwards, oh, they were disturbed, but they clapped really hard. It was an experience I would never forget. Playing an insane person is hard and scary, but it's really fun! Of course, I find playing a normal, down-to-Earth character really hard! D'oh! I'm so sorry, I let it slip! Oh well, might as well leave it. xD EDIT: I'll give a bit of advice, one that has really helped me so far. If you plan to do a play or a scene that comes from a film, please, if you haven't seen the movie, do not watch it! I wait until I'm done performing it for good. The reason why is most of the time people copy stuff from the movie and use it for their scene. Posture, tone, facial expressions, whatever. The point is the actor has to become the character from how they themselves see that character, not from how someone else has done before. At the Drama Festival (and I remember this clearly), there was a duet scene from The Producers. It was the Blanket scene from somewhere at the beginning. I was really interested to see how they would do the scene, as it is a bit difficult. You wanna know what happened? They copied it exactly as the actors from the movie had done A minute into the duet I was bored 'cause I had seen it already. Please, it is wise to not copy what someone else has already done. Do how you yourself would do it! Just make sure you also do it as the character would, okay? It's a problem when actors go completely out of character. I know, because I've done it several times. *laugh* LATER: Oh Lord, I sound so full of myself, do I?

No, you don't sound full of yourself! And don't worry if you let your life stuff slip into the board here a little. Your life is your life, and sometimes it influences all you do outside of the personal core, both literally and metaphorically. I've been guilty of that. And i know what u mean, with the information thing on the internet. Sometimes i wonder wether or not i should've joined this board, i'm paranoid about getting stabbed in the back(reeeally familiar with it). See? There i go again. Anyways i must say that i admire what you said of your work with acting! Honest.

Thank you! Honestly, if several years ago someone told me that my passion would be acting, I would have thought that they were insane and needed to be locked up. Guess who's laughing now.

It's pretty obvious you're a guy, and I'll guess that your age is somewhere between 17 to 23.

It's pretty obvious you're a guy, and I'll guess that your age is somewhere between 17 to 23. *gasp* Another detective! You're all out to get me! Just kidding! *laugh* If your guess was made because of my voice list, well, I'll remind you something. Even girls can do guy voices. Look at the voice cast for Rugrats! This isn't saying that you're wrong, though. Or...maybe you are? I won't tell! I'll just keep messing with your mind! ADD ON TO VOICE LIST: I just now remembered a few other voices I can do! Let's see...I can do Beavis, Mr. Hankey, Towely, Cartman, Hanyuu from Higurashi, Ness from Earthbound (I think...), Kirby, Chiyo from Azumanga Daoih, a young japanese girl (that's just sad!), that red lizard guy that starts with a 'G' from Digimon season 3, Homer Simpson, Mr. Burns, Krusty the Clown's laugh, Marge Simpson, one of them Mobster girlfriends with the really high annoying voices, Barney (>.>), Blue from Blue's Clues, Skeeter from Doug, a few characters from Egoraptor's Metal Gear Awesome series on Newgrounds, Ukinojoe's Indiana Jones , any character from LittleKuriboh's Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Abridged Series, Princess Peach (a little), Mario & Luigi, Freddy Krueger, Darth Vader, Jigsaw from Saw (I love doing this for prank phone calls!), a witch's laugh, a southern black person (sorry!), an australian accent (crikey!), a british accent (bugger!), country accent, a zombie accent (really easy!)...wow, I can't remember anything else! See? My voice ranges from female to male. I've been doing this stuff ever since I was a toddler. My voice today is a mixture of both sexes. If anyone is curious about my Pokemon voices, for now I can do Pikachu, Togepi, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Rattata, Ekans, Arbok, Abra, Krabby, Ditto, Eevee, Mr. Mime, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Marill, Azumarill, Jigglypuff, Wobbufett, Snubbull, Scizor, and, my all time favorite, Sudowoodo. I love Sudowoodo's voice and little dance! Yes, I've only gone througn 2 different series of Pokemon before I got sick of it. I've played the 3rd one in the series, but, c'mon, it gets so boring! It's the same exact Pokemon, except with a new style!

If I could do that internet voice acting commission gig that Egoraptor and a few other Newgrounders do, I'd be friggin' rich by now. *laugh*
