One of my favourite things to do is imagine new bands. Any one think the weasels would be a good rock band? what instruments would they play? what would there name be? what style would they cover?
What do each of you guys think?
P.S Slimey should definately be used in this one, hehe.

I'd probably say:
Smartguy - Vocal Greasy - Guitar, Back Vocal Wheezy - Bass, Back Vocal Stupid - Keyboard Psycho - Drums
doing music like HIM or the Rasmus

I like the song "Wind him up" from SAGA, and I find Michael Sadlers' voice is like the German voice of Smart Guys', and for this reason, the songs of SAGA fits on them and they could be the band SAGA.

i've often wondered about this...i don't think Greasy would be too happy being out of the spotlight, where it's harder for the throngs of screaming girls to see him...^_^

Don´t know, never heared him singing. I came to this idea, cause my voice is similar with his voice and I´m a very terrible singer! But the reason for this is, my voice is similar to Greasy´s when I speak normal. When I speak toonish, it sounds like Smart Guy´s. And when I´m singing, I sing like a toon.

No, here in Germany nobody knows the weasels or their names. It is a wonder if you meet one, who knows the movie!!! I´m sure it´s fun, I don´t sing often. The last time I sang loud I was in love, but this was so long ago! Ohhh, good old time!

Now, if Slimey were involved in this, he'd be like the guitarist for a rockabilly revival band, playing amped-up versions of Carl Perkins and Eddie Cochran. The best known band that does this would be The Stray Cats, although I could name a bunch of others. Nowadays, The Stray Cats' lead guitarist Brian Setzer has a huge big band orchestra back him up, playing sort of a combination of rockabilly and swing. This is what I think the Toon Patrol would play. - Smarta**- Lead vocal and twangy guitar, for sure.
- Greasy- I have difficulty deciding on him. Sometimes I think he'd play bass to sound all big and masculine, and then something like Carlos Santana guitar. Just now I wondered about some sort of sensual saxophone or occasionally a nylon-string guitar for that Latin touch. He'd definitely sing to woo the ladies, though.
- Wheezy- I keep associating him with the blues, so maybe guitar as well? There are some bands with three guitarists, but they're pretty rare. I'm thinking now that they'd all change what they're playing depending on the song.
- Psycho- Drums for sure. He'd go totally insane doing solos, like Keith Moon of The Who or Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich since there'd be a jazz leaning. I think Pete Best or The Wonders or The Stray Cats would be appropriate at times too.
- Stupid- I honestly don't know. I figure he'd do something simple, like root notes on a bass, but that wouldn't really be appropriate for swing music.

I imagine the weasels playing jazzy, lounge music. I imagine Smart Ass playing the saxophone, Greasy the piano, Wheezy an upright bass, Psycho the drums, and Stupid..... the curtain puller? XD I don't see any of them singing, actually, hence I imagine them having somebody else hired for that. A female singer is what I imagine, actually. Don't ask why, because I don't really know myself. And I can also see Smart Ass on the piano and Greasy on the saxophone instead; I'm a bit indecisive on that, obviously.

Isn't this about what they would be like as a rock band, though? The style I described is really the closest thing there is to swing/big band within the span of rock music. If anyone's familiar with the House of Mouse theme song, you'll know what I'm talking about.
