We all know that the weasels are well, weasels in the movie, but did you know that in Italy, they were "martens" and in Russia, they were "ferrets"? Yeah, I've heard it from somewhere. For those of you who don't know these animals, here are a few pics. MARTENS FERRETS

Hmmm...interesting find. I wonder what they were called in Japan? Maybe snipers or a kanji of weasel or something.

Well lets see, they are called mustelids and in the mustelid family, there are, weasels, ferrets, stoats, badgers, otters, wolverines, skunks, polecats, and martens.

Actually, that's not true. The weasel family is in fact the largest in the order carnivora and has about 65 species. So when it comes to any meat-eating animals, from cats to dogs to bears, they are all outnumbered by weasels.
