Hey guys! What's up? I noticed that a lot of you didn't really like me, and thought that I didn't like the weasels, particularly Wheezy (though he's actually my favorite, haha). Therefore, I wanted to make it up to you guys. I know I posted this somewhere else on the board, but here's a clip of the old Roger Rabbit Cartoon Spin ride in the Toontown theme park. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxFliGy6kFA&search=Roger%20Rabbit The weasels are featured in this clip, and you can hear them all talking! Enjoy!

Ah, this brings back a lot of happy memories. The first ride I ever went to at Disneyland was this one. Mainly because of the weasels. ;D
P.S. I deepy apologize for thinking you disliked Wheezy. I hope you forgive us.

I forgive you. And also, yeah, I did notice that weasel, and was wonderin' who he was. Maybe that's "Flasher", who they were considering using, but never did.

Maybe it's Wheezy. Cause in the first part of the ride, there's a weasel that looks like Smart Guy, but Smart Guy is actually near the car, with Jessica in the trunk. So I guess they just sort of got confused or something.

No, that wasn't Wheezy. Wheezy was with Greasy pouring the Dip at the beginning of the ride. Also near the end of the ride, he was about to get whopped by Jessica while Greasy was already whopped and seeing little stars. Wheezy wears yellow, and the other weasel wasn't wearing yellow. I think the name "Sloppy" suits him best.

Could somebody please explain exactly what Sloppy looks like? I want to add him to my Weasel Group.

You know, I went this ride with my eyes open for the first time only recently. When I was a little kid, I'm pretty sure the queue alone scared me, and I didn't want to see what was happening during the ride itself. Then there was period where my parents couldn't afford to go to Disneyland for several years. A lot of my memories of it where slightly faded. When we finally were able to go back, I decided to go on the rides that used to scare me and therefore never went on with my eyes open. This would be the first time I went on these and actually saw what was happening, which included The Haunted Mansion and Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. For some reason I didn't think of going on Car Toon Spin until last year, when I went to Disneyland's Grad Nite (which is awful, by the way) for my high school graduation. The entirety of Mickey's Toontown was closed at the time, much to my disappointment and frustration. I finally managed to go on it late last year, around Christmas time.
...And I must say, it's still pretty spooky. The queue still made me nervous, at eighteen years of age, and the spiraling, nightmarish, acid trip insanity that is the deadly combination of cartoon zaniness and dark, gritty noir really blew me away. It was great. It's on my list of favorites now, which all seem to be demented dark rides.
Ever since then, I've been curious about the miscellanious weasels scattered about the ride. I mean, we have the usual Toon Patrol, but there seem to be entirely new ones as well. The one dubbed "Sleazy" by Two-Bits I believe is the only new one who gets a spoken line. I'm not sure just how many new weasels there actually are, and which ones are just Toon Patrol members that are just seen really quickly and in the dark. All I can think of is the aforementioned "Sleazy", and this one next to Jessica in the car trunk who looks like Smarta** but isn't wearing a hat. I've got three different fan-made videos of the ride saved on my computer, but none of them get the entirety of it, nor is all of what was filmed easy to see. Because of the cheap video cameras they used, the compression on the videos, and the ride's dim lighting, a lot of the details are obscured, making it hard to make out which weasel is which. Anyway, if we could somehow get clear shots of each weasel in the ride and identify them, we could give all of the new ones names. The more the merrier, really, since there are several new ones in the comic books as well.

I never was in Disneyland, but if I have enough money, I will go! And then I will buy all things of the weasels I can find.

I'm going to Disney World on or near August 30, but I can only take photos.
By the way, what did Sleazy say?

This is after listening closely to my three different videos of the ride. He's opening a door or something: "This oughta put you outta patrician!" (chuckles) "Permit me to get da door for ya, chum!" "Right this way, Sir (incomprehensible)!" (chuckles) I can't really tell what it is he's doing, besides pulling on a rope and vaguely threatening you. It goes dark in the videos up until Smarta** appears in the Dip Machine. Remember, I've only been psychically present on the ride with my eyes open only once so far. Obviously he has a malaprop problem similar to Smarta**, replacing "comission" with "patrician". I wish I could make out what the third line is, but the sound quality is a bit murky. Actually, the last time I was there, I hardly saw any Roger Rabbit merchandise. Then again, I was more keen on getting on rides I had never been on before or hadn't been on in a long time, rather than lingering in one area like I used to. I never was much of a shopper there, either- I never see anything I want besides lollipops and English toffee (or candy in general). I know there's been some weasel merchandise, like that print of them in their car with guns in their hands (elsewhere in this forum), and some pins and buttons: www.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/group.cgi?group=2832It's pretty difficult to keep track of all of them. There were some buttons made in '87, which for some reason don't seem to include Greasy. But he does have a metallic pin. Smarta** has the most, likely because he's the one everybody remembers.

I know this web site with the pins. I must have the pins, but I donĀ“t know if you can buy it in Disney World Paris.
