**Chapter One**
The sun was rising over a happy cartoon place called Toontown. Word had just came that a new cartoon character, aka a Toon, had been made. Every toon from far and wide came to see. Even some of the humans who lived in Toontown were invited, especially Eddie Valiant, his brother, Teddy, and Eddie's girlfriend, Dolores, who were chosen to be the little toon's legal guardians. As the big gorilla Bongo walked forward, the new Toon baby was presented. It was a little bunny with big blue eyes, white fur, and long ears. And he was given the name, Roger Rabbit. Bongo held the little boy rabbit in the air as all the Toons cheered and bowed to the future king of Toontown. But something was odd. Someone was missing...
