I know he's probably intended to be male, but when you compare him to the other four weasels, his character design is far less gender-specific. He's quite small, his voice is very high-pitched, and even if he had any, er, humanoid feminine attributes (which, as a weasel, he might not have) the straitjacket would obscure them. While it's unlikely the creators thought of him as anything other than male, I guess it's possible he could be portrayed in a fic as the team's Token Girl, as TVTropes.org would say. Then again, the female weasel who's showed up in the comics looked like this: www.imagebam.com/image/69cedd80783599/So maybe that argument's not so convincing. Don't mind me, I just like to come up with weird theories

you know that never really cross my mind until now,, but if you look closely at the movie with him in it i don't see any female attributes but that again he probably didn't go through puberty yet so that maybe why his is a little smaller then the otehrs and high voice too but then again some male cartoons have high voices
