Chapter: 5
"Ah man; I hate Christmas carolers.'' he said.
"Oh Smartguy, lighten up, it's only Christmas carolers. Besides, Vanessa is going to do that.'' said Juarez, then picked him up and dust the snow off.
Smartguy groaned and he then quickly fixed his hat.
"I gotta go guy's, I have to do some Christmas caroling.'' said Vanessa, walking towards them.
"Are you going to come to the headquarters when your done?'' Juarez asked.
"Maybe.'' she replied.
Vanessa looked at the pole. She smirked at it.
"Hey, Smartguy, I bet you can get your tongue stuck if you licked it.''
"No way.'' he said.
"Yes you can.''
"No you can't.''
"Yes.''
"No.''
"YES!!!'' she yelled.
"NO!!!'' he yelled.
"Fine, you can't.'' Vanessa said, with her arms crossed.
"Yes you can see.'' said Smartguy, then puts his tongue on the pole.
"HA! I JUST BUGS BUNNY YOU!!!"
He rolled his eyes at her. Smartguy tried to get his tongue off the pole. Didn't work. While he tried, Juarez sighed, watching her husband while Vanessa snickered.
"Good luck try to get out.'' she said, then left.
Smartguy looked at Juarez.
"Help.''
Later, after doing some Christmas caroling, Vanessa began to chattered her teeth.
"It have to be soo cold.'' Vanessa said to herself.
She then stopped. Abrown ferret with a light brown stomach, who was wearing a red sweater, with a little Christmas hat in front of her. It looked up at her.
"So, you escaped from the pet store or what?'' she asked.
It climbed on Vanessa and wrapped her body around her neck.
"My guess, you escaped.''
The ferret licked her face. Vanessa sighed and then rubbed her head.
"C'mon, you can come. But only if you could do one thing.'' she said.
The ferret nodded. While she began walking she whispered to the little ferret's ear about the favor.

Chapter:6
Meanwhile, in the Toon Patrol headquarters, which they already came back, they were at the living room about to drink hot chocolate.
"I can't wait to drink it.'' said Clyde.
"Yeah.'' Bonnie agreed.
A knock was on the door.
"It's open.'' said Smartguy.
The door opened and it was Vanessa with the ferret still around her kneck. Some eyes widen while others cocked their heads to the side.
"What? You guy's act like you never seen a ferret.'' she said, then crossed her arms.
"We know it's a ferret.'' said Smartguy.
"Where did you find it?'' Juarez asked.
"I found it near the garbage can, it came to me.'' she said.
The ferret jumped off and strectched it's legs. It began to stare at Wheezy. He cocked a brow at it.
"What?'' Wheezy asked.
It began to snarl. He let out a gulp, then take some steps back. The ferret pounced on Wheezy's legs and bite. Wheezy began to scream and tries to shake the ferret off it's legs. They watched him and the ferret.
"So, do you guy's know if it's a girl or a boy?'' Vanessa asked.
"Can't you bring the ferret to your sister?'' Smartguy asked.
"I know, long story, but I just wanna know.''
Vanessa grabbed the ferret away from Wheezy. As she carries it, Smartguy stares at th ferret's face.
"It's a girls.'' he said.
"How?''
"Girls got big eye lashes.'' said Smartguy.
She rolled her eyes, but excepts the answer. Greasy walked towards a radio and played it. It played a kind of salsa music. The ferret moves it's head and began to dance.
"I think I know what to name her. Dance.'' she said.
"More like, Santa's good luck charm.'' said Clyde.
Everyone stared at Clyde.
"That's Santa's good luck charm. Dance is a christmas ferret, she's supposed to be with Santa.'' said Bonnie.

Chapter: 6
"Yeah, you know the saying "he's sees you when your sleeping and know when your awake"? Well, Dance climbs down the chimney first and goes to your room, just in case." said Clyde.
"Santa always brings her to the sleigh." said Bonnie.
""Wait! HOW DO YOU GUYS KNOW ABOUT THIS?!?" Vanessa asked.
"This book." said Clyde, taking out a book behind his back.
In the front it says "Christmas for Dummies". Vanessa was going to say something until the clock made an alarm. It was 9:00.
"Alright, gotta go to sleep guys." said Smartguy.
The kits began to moan. Not wanting to sleep.
"Santa's going to come and find you guys awake."
"What's the point if Vanessa has the ferret." said Bonnie.
"Just go to sleep." said Greasy.
The kits went upstairs, mumbling about not wanting to sleep. Juarez carried Kenny and took him upstairs. Smartguy then sighed and looked at Vanessa.
"So whatcha gonna do with her?" he asked.
"I don't know. Dad will probably want me to take it to the pet store."
She then too the ferret, put it on her shoulder and left. When she made it there, she saw her mom and dad at the couch. To her guess, they must have been waiting. Nobody asked about the ferret. Yet.
"Vanessa, where did you get that ferret, you didn't stole it did you?" Eddie asked.
"Nope, found it." she said.
"Well, we'll talk about it tommorow, now come so you can open your presents." said Dolores.
She nodded and did as she was told. As she sat down, her mom passed her a present. She opened it and it was a sketch book.
"Uh, thanks."
"We figured you would like it." said Eddie.
Dolores sighed and took the present next to her which was supposed to be given to Maria.
"I hope nothing bad happened to her." she said.
"Yeah, I can never understand her." Eddie said to Dolores.
"I can, only a little." Vanessa uttered.
Vanessa stood up and took her present upstairs. She went to her room, jumped on the couch and looked up at the ceiling.
"Man, this stinks." she said to herself.
Dance looked at her. She came beside her as comfort. Midnight came, and nothing happened so far. But then they heard someone coming from the living room. Vanessa quickly got up and ran downstairs. As she did, she saw Santa Clause. She would never imagine he would come.
"Ho, Ho, Ho, hellos Vanessa." Santa said.
Vanessa didn't say anything; she was speechless. He turned and saw Dance.
"There you are. I see you found your gift."
"Wait, my gift?" she asked
"Sure. I was supposed to deliver this to you but to my guess she fell off the sleigh."
Dance looked up at her, with a smile across her face. Vanessa still didn't smile though. She looked down instead.
"I know why your down. Your sister is ok. She made some new friends and she'll come back." Santa assured her.
"When?" Vanessa asked.
"Someday." he said, then by touching his nose he disappeared.
She picked up the ferret and pet it's head. Santa must have gave her this for a companion. Vanessa finally smiled. At least knowing her sister is alright.
"Best Christmas ever."
