Game Weasels

Hello hello, all, I'm the new guy~

Thanks to Fatal's weasel guide I decided to play the old SNES game 'Mickey Mania', and replayed some other games.

Allow me to share the weasel goodness with you, first, the two weasels from 'Mickey Mania'. Short description about this game: You play Mickey and jump'n'run your way through various levels, all of them made up of movies where Mickey starred in. The first one, of course, is 'Steamboat Willie'. Now, perhaps it was because I suck at playing Jump'n'Runs on the PC, but I found this game to be quiiiite hard... reaching the last, weasel-filled level was quite an ordeal! But so well worth it!

Next... the 'Great Circus Mystery'. In this game you face three weasels as minibosses, who serve Baron Pete for- unexplainable reasons. They are listed in the Credits simply as 'The Weasels'.

Last but not least, a rather peculiar weasel from the game: 'Mickey's Ultimate Challenge'. This weasel and other things are based on 'The Prince and the Pauper'.

What I find very interesting is his personality and attitude. Allow me to write down the complete dialogue:

Mickey falls asleep and begins to dream, falling out of the sky and lands right in front of the weasel.

Mickey: "Huh?!! Wh-what happened? Where the heck am I??"

Weasel: "The Kingdom of Beanwick, of course!"

*Earthquake*

Mickey: "Gosh! What was that?!"

Weasel: "New in the kingdom, eh? That was another bloomin' earthquake. We just keep 'avin 'em."

Mickey: "Hey, maybe they should call this the Kingdom of Jumping Bean-wick..."

Weasel: "Sure, it's easy to joke, but nobody can figure out 'ow to stop 'em. I s'pose we're doomed."

Mickey: "Aw gee don't give up. Maybe I can help?"

Weasel: "That's mighty noble of you. We'd be so grateful if you could put a stop to this blinkin' rumbling."

And that's that.~

Hey, I've never heard of Mickey's Ultimate Challenge! Wow, so we've got another one, then. Odd- Mickey seems to be having a peaceful conversation with him...
Mickey: I'd like to help stop a natural disaster!
Weasel: Gee, that's awfully nice of you!

Since he's so clearly based on The Prince and the Pauper (which makes three instances of a Mickey video game having such weasels), I'll be including him in the article about said featurette.

Oh, and I'll be putting up my screenshots and whatever screenshots I've found online on my Photobucket account. Although I'll be saving yours on my computer, I won't be putting them on my account, since that'd be redundant and you've put them up for all to see anyway.
...Unless I have your permission? I mean, to put them all in one place would be nice...

Hah, indeed, it is a LITTLE strange how Mickey thinks he can solve something like an earthquake XD In the end, he proves that he CAN...
The weasel's attitude is a little more surprising, though. :3

I remember when my sister got that game yeaaars ago, for the GameBoy- Only yesterday did I find out that there exists a SNES version of it. It is identical, gameplay-wise, but the weasel looks much better, compared to the gray pixel he is in the GameBoy version...

And please, go ahead and take the pictures if you like. I can even make new ones, should you need bigger or smaller pictures, I can easily access the weasel levels.

Aw, the defeated Tetris Weasel reminds me of a certain death scene~

Interesting how he calls himself simply 'Weasel'.

Those weasel postcards with Pluto are hilarious! And do I see policemen weasels...?

As for the jackhammer weasel... Jacky? Helmy? <.< >.> Nothing springs to mind...

Luckily, Weasel is just fine once you get to the cutscene. That flower is usually an indication of feigned death, I've noticed...
"Weasel" is probably the worst name a weasel could ever get. It's worse than naming your cat "Cat"- it implies that all you care about is the fact that he's a weasel. I've written about him, by the way.

The policeman weasels are still bad guys, 'cause that's Daisy's stolen bike in that shot. I don't know much about that game, 'cause I don't have it. I get the impression that the weasels, under Pete, are trying to take over the local neighborhood or something.
