So you're saying it's childish, then? That's not much better. In fact, they're pretty much same in my book. Childishness is poop and fart jokes, and it keeps children stupid by talking down to them.
"The Eye of Argon" is considered the worst work of fiction ever written. It rips off Conan the Barbarian, is terribly macho, and full of clichés, misspellings, and criminal misuse of a thesaurus.
I refuse to read or watch Twilight simply because it abandons everything that makes vampires cool, throwing away key elements of a perfectly good mythology, and turns it into fangirl bait.
I admit that talking pants and flying pizzas are only funny on a basic level because they are simply absurd, but surreal absurdity isn't lowbrow in of itself. I know you have your opinion, but I'm just miffed that you would put it down just because you don't think it's funny... why not just say that you don't think it's funny instead of saying it's for low-IQ's only?

Fatal, it's not that it's completely stupid, it's just that it makes very little sense. I have a deep dislike of things not making sense.
I could have bought the talking pants, that's fine. But when the pizzas showed up I felt like it was pushing it. I kept expecting Roger to wake up and realize it was all a bad dream. In fact, that might have been a better ending.
Frankly, other people have said things here that offended me but I let them go because there is no use trying to force people to conform to my ideas.
I was joking about the IQ points, Fatal. As evidenced from my "XD" smilie. I still think it's a bad story, and I can't change that to suit anyone else. :\

........WHAT. When, on Earth or in any other alternate universe, did I EVER said it was for stupid people? I said it made ME feel stupid.

Well, I thought you were implying that, because from my experience, if something lowers one's IQ, it's meant to keep stupid people stupid- therefore, it's targeted by towards stupid people, and should be avoided by intelligent people. Nevermind, then.
See, I'm NOT trying to change anyone's mind on what they think of this story- and I'd rather not be accused of doing such- I'm just saying that I'm upset that this story is considered stupid, 'cause I like it and other stories like it, and I even write similarly crazy and absurd things myself. It makes me feel like I have bad taste and shouldn't bother writing such things, because they're a waste of time. It makes enough sense to me...
...I'm not trying to make this into an argument. I'm just saying how I feel.

...You know what? I'm really sorry. I'm sorry that this thread turned into such an ugly thing, all because I overreacted a bit. I just felt like no one else liked it, which is more or less true, and I got upset because a type of entertainment I generally like was being put down.
I've been feeling alienated lately...

Fatal, it's all right. I'm sure people aren't saying that the stories you write are stupid, they just felt a little silly reading this one. No one is saying the things you write are stupid.
Now, let's change the subject.
Didn't someone say we could name those weasels? They already have their name (for once...XD), so what about their personalilties?

Hmm, they are looking al the same, maybe it´s difficulty to split them into different personalities.

Names? Wow, how did I miss those? Mugsy, Bugsy, Pugsy, and Percival, eh? Well, that certainly saves me some trouble. Since they're identical, it wouldn't surprise me if they all acted the same. Groups of toons who look alike more often than not have the same personality, unless they're like evil twins or something. Huey, Dewey, and Louie, anyone? I mean, they're even more indistinguishable than the guys on the front cover of the first issue of the previous series, Roger Rabbit. But at least we get to see them actually do something... and they at least have names. I dunno, they're kinda even in the genericness department.
...Ugh. I'm starting to think we're running out of the interesting weasels...

If I never heard about Twilight again, I'd throw a party. ALL my sister's friends EVER talk about is Twilight, Twilight, Twilight. One of them named her two kittens Jacob and Edward. And I agree with Fatal that it gives werewolves and vampires a bad name!

As soon as I learned that the vampires sparkle, I swore to never see it. If I want to see a mythological creature sparkle, I'll watch a Barbie unicorn cartoon or something like that.

It's just... I'm a big traditionalist when it comes to mythology and folklore. We've gotten to the point when folklore no longer changes because of being passed down from generation to generation, and instead changes because of conscious decisions. I say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If one runs out of ideas, it's the fault of the writer, not the mythology itself. My personal philosophy when it comes to fiction writing is this: It's not the thing itself, it's what you do with it.
We've gotten pretty off-topic, though... I'm not sure what else to say about the comic.

Yeah, right, only thing about that we can say is that we all have our own opinion about that.
