I do as well, Silver. In fact, there is actually a weasel in the movie. Did you know that?

Yes. In Russia Buck the Weasel is voiced by a famoust humourist - Vadim Galigin. I saw Ice ge 3 today and I liked it. It's so sad that Scrat and Scattie are not together and the nut is at Scrattie's.((((((((

Tomorrow this movie comes in the cinamas here in germany and I wanna see it. I don´t know how Buck the weasel is like, but I heard that he is a dinosaur hunter. On Ebay they are selling plush dolls of him.

Oh I've seen the preview! Is he the one with an eyepatch? He did look like a weasel! So he must be the most ancient weasel cartoon character(but in the newest flick...)^^

I just watched it today, and I must say that I think it's a masterpiece. The 3D makes it look so alive and filled with real depth. The story and action is truly epic, and the humor was very fresh, I think. I thought Buck was a brilliant character- an interesting twist on the rugged adventurer. They may have implied that he's stuck underground, but I'm sure he could conjure something up to get out if he ever wanted to visit everyone, if he wanted to (and there's enough demand for him in a sequel). I was a little disappointed by how Scrat's romantic relationship turned out, but I suppose I should've seen it coming. There's no reason that she won't return either.

I saw it today! I haven't seen the second one but I assume that this third one would be much much better. Really well made! Wanna see it with 3D glasses... My geeky heart somehow related WFRR at certain scenes. That scene with the green gas...(no spoiling..)and when Buck answers 'Roger!' and possums think he's referring to another guy...lol Bucky is a great character <3 crazy but loyal! I also like Simon Pegg so it's double win!!

The entire thing is actually the sort of movie I'd like to make. Old-school adventure, nutty comedy, and a little bit of spicy and romantic love (I'm referring to Scratte, of course). What can I say? Scratte has a lot of the same qualities I like in women. In my defense, I've seen a lot of female fans go gaga for male cartoon characters.
Has anyone else noticed the similarity between Buck's story and Moby Dick?

I never thought about it, but it´s similar to the old story of the man and the ocean, where to old fisher tries to hunt a big whale.

Note that Rudy and Moby Dick are both extremely large, white-colored creatures. I won't say anymore in case I spoil something...

Harley: Yeah, he really is.
