In some high quality screencaps from "Wind in the Willows"? Specifically of the weasels? I got the DVD a few days ago and it's really easy for me to cap the thing.

*laughs* Somehow I knew you'd be a taker. I'll have to upload them all later today.

Yeah, I've got the DVD too, but this will save me a lot of effort... so if you could have them be full size (and not blown up) and without any compression, that'd be great!

I got them as best I can. They're .pngs, and as full sized as they come. (Otherwise they would be enlarged.) I got most of the scenes, although I had to trawl back through and take out the ones that didn't turn out well. (Usually with lots of movement.) The only thing I'd like to ask is that if anyone uses them on the 'net, just give me a little credit for doing the capping. I zipped them for easier uploading...the file is about 33.2 MB. Here they are anyway:
You may have to copy/paste that address to be allowed access to it due to my anti-hotlinking script.

Ummm... why, for goodness sake, are they so DARK? They're kind of blurry, even. These don't look anything like the DVD I have... what DVD program are you using? Don't tell me you're photographing the television... ... ...I don't know what to say.

Well, no, I'm NOT photographing the TV...I'm not that stupid. That is how the DVD plays on my computer. I don't know what DVD you have or what your computer settings are. And, I'm using VLC. www.videolan.org/vlc/(As is obvious from the filenames.) I dunno, if they're not good enough, I'll just delete them and keep them for my own references when drawing. I can't change the way the DVD plays. The other shorts are brighter, but for some reason "Willows" is dark. I was just trying to help out. [edit] You know what? Nevermind. I'll just keep my screencaps for my own references.

No, I don't have the same DVD, and there lies the problem. I have: disneydvd.disney.go.com/disney-animation-collection-volume-5-wind-in-the-willows.htmlThat one. And the colors for some reason are not bright. It would have helped if you'd just asked about the darkness without the comments of "Don't tell me you're photographing the television..." (Which would imply, in fact, that I am too stupid to know what exactly a screencap -is-.) Another thing is I'm not using an iMac, but I doubt that really has anything to do with it.

Hmm... well, I must say that I don't understand why Disney used that print. It almost looks like a bootleg... well, the DVD's to blame then.
I made the television comment because that's what it sort of looked like to me, especially the way the frames blend into each other. I was mostly confused. I didn't mean to be insulting, so I'm sorry it sounded that way. (I can't say that being seen as a jerk is much better...)
...Truce?

I honestly didn't expect such a strong reaction from her... I need to be careful that way, 'cause I often get in trouble when I'm brutally honest.
