Pink is actually a color that suits men really well when used on formal clothing.

Exactly, Li'l Mug!!! Ya know? Who the heck ever said that pink was a girls color?! A color is a color; there's no such thing as '"male" colors and "female" colors as far as I'm concerned.

Ah, the fashionable, elegant ones; yup, you're probably right, Li'l Mug! XD They can say whatever they want, but we both know that a woman can look elegant in pink AND a man can look elegant in pink. ^_^

Heres a tidbit on colors: www.uexpress.com/dearabby/?uc_full_date=20070531"In the 19th and 20th centuries, baby clothes were all white. If they had any color trimming, pink was used for boys and blue for girls. The Ladies Home Journal in 1918 said: "There has been a great diversity of opinion on the subject, but the general accepted rule is pink for the boy and blue for the girl. Pink, being a more decided and stronger color, is more suitable for the boy, while blue, which is more delicate and dainty, is prettier for the girl." Quoting the relevant bit of the article. So...yeah, pink was very much a 'mans' color. XD It's actually only recently that pink started to be seen as 'girly'. Back in the '40's eyebrows would probably have went up over the style of the clothing more than the color. People kind of frowned on the guys wearing Zoot suits because it was seen as wasteful when fabric was scarce. Which is why, of course, most of them -did- wear them. They were rebellious. Works for the weasels just fine. They actually did, during the war, outlaw/ban cuffs and pleats on clothes. :\

Yep. I laughed a bit when I first read that. My nephew has/had a shirt that is pink and says "Tough guys wear pink." He actually picked it out himself. His dad was like "If that's what you want, OK." I think, seriously, that someone would only make fun of Smarty once...because he'd do -something- to get back at them for it.

Well, if Smart A** didn't like wearing his pink, we'd better make it blue, like Sleeping Beauty!

Me *reading a book about meaning of colors*-Wear pink when you want to present yourself as a peaceful, calm person who is not threatening. The softer shades are very feminine and darker shades will alleviate feelings of friction. Pink is the color of universal love. Pink is a quiet color. Lovers of beauty favor pink. A pink carnation means "I will never forget you". Pink is a combination of red and white. The quality of energy in pink is determined by how much red is present. White is the potential for fullness, while red helps you to achieve that potential. Pink combines these energies. Shades of deep pink, such as magenta, are effective in neutralizing disorder and violence. Some prisons use limited deep pink tones to diffuse aggressive behavior. Pink provides feelings of caring, tenderness, self-worth and love, acceptance.
Smart Guy *confused*-You need too get a life
