Pink?

I think he picked pink and I think he looks tough in it! So there! Hmmph!

(Originally, when I watched the movie, I thought he wore WHITE with a pick band on his hat and a pink tie. *shrugs* Oh well)

I'm being a little off-topic here, but yeah- that's what I've read anyway. Pink and black to be specific. Way back in the late Fifties, when wild colors were considered dangerous. I know for sure that he had a pink Cadillac. In fact, pink and black is associated with late Fifties rock 'n' roll culture quite a lot- there's even a song about it.
Unfortunately, because this was in the late Fifties, I'm pretty sure there aren't any color photos of him wearing it.

Anyway, Smarta** wearing pink is perfectly all right, since zoot suits often come in bright colors anyway. Lately I've seen t-shirts that say, "real men wear pink", but it's this wimpy pastel pink. Take it from an actual male here: I think if you're gonna wear pink and you're a guy, but you still wanna look tough, I say go all the way and wear hot pink or go with pink and black. Y'know, a black leather jacket with a pink polo shirt and motorcycle boots, pick up a guitar, learn three chords, and you'll be rockin'.
Or in Smarta**'s case, pick up a knife and stick somebody. No one's gonna make fun of you for that.
The only thing I'd avoid is taking cues from Elton John when wearing pink. People might beat you up...

Elton John is the fellow who wrote such hits as "Crocodile Rock", "Tiny Dancer", and "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". He also wrote the music for The Lion King. And since you may be wondering, he wears things like feather boas and huge sunglasses and platform shoes. Do I need to mention why Smarta** should never even think of emulating him?

I saw a couple of promotional pictures in which his suit was red. For some reason, I'm glad they changed the color. I think it's because the red just made him look too much like a fire engine.

Hahaha! That would be a sight. I also saw a few pictures in which his suit was brown. Didn't really like it.

Si! his fur is brown as well, that doesn't fit.
But I think his pink suit fits with his red-brown fur.
I should't come to Germany in a pink suit, because in this Country peaple think that
a man who wears pink is a gay one.
In Germany men wear mostly brown, white, gray and black.
But I have heared that summer 2008 shoud become a colorful year.

I have a pamphlet from a zoot suit store that features pics of the different colors they sell, and next to the pink suit, there's a caption that read's "the women will love you, the children will look up to you, and the men will respect you." How cool is that?! ;D

If people would think you're gay just because of that, then those people are stupid. I wouldn't think a guy wearing a pink zoot suit is gay at all. I'd think that that guy is cool because he would obviously have an appreciation for old 1940's clothes and is wearing what he wants to wear. And as we both know, zoot suits are supposed to be bright and flashy anyhow. A zoot suit is and old past time, and I'd applaud a guy for liking it and bringing it back. ^_^
