Over the weekend I had a crisis; found a wild mother cat whom had six kittens. They were only about a couple days old, and were in such poor condition that I am obliged to spare the disturbing details. The poor mother was trying her best to care for them, but she obviously wasn't doing a good job of it, so my mom, brother, friend and I had to rescue them. It was nighttime, and so we had to hold up a really bright light to see into the thick, thorny bush. And it took two shovels to part the branches in order to get to the kittens, and to keep the mother from lunging through; it was very difficult because we had to be very careful not to hurt the kittens or the mother. It was hard to get them out because they were all stuck and tangled together by their umbilical cords and were also intertwined with a clump of sticks and grasses. When we finally got them out we had to very carefully cut their cords and untangle them from the grass. Sadly most of them were too far gone and passed away soon after. However, two of them survived and are healthy and fat, like they should be! Two black and white males. Named them Lenny and Squiggy! XD Our pet cat Sally is taking care of them and letting them nurse from her as if they were her own, so they are doing well!! I am so very thankful for that. I've been keeping a watchful eye on them as well, and I make certain they get plenty of milk from Sally.

I must say that I proudly gave the honor of naming Sally's three healthy kittens, born on March 31, to Li'l Mug! (Karma for you!) She named the orange and white male Tora (Japanese for tiger), the gray and white female Ashes, and the tortoise shell and white female Calico, from the story "The Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat."

:3 Aww, Boss, hehe, thanks!! It was no problem. In fact, it was really fun! By the way, the story of the kittens is just dreadful. At least those 2 poor kittens survived ;-;

Yeah, it''s one of those terrible memories that i'll never forget. And you're the only one here who knows the uncensored parts. I know some people who would have thrown up if they saw what i told ya. But Lenny and Squiggy are doing well, along with the others! Ashes is the loud-mouth of the bunch; like I said, their's always a loud kitten in every litter. XD lol

Yeah, when we pick her up, she screams her little head off (even though she already knows who we are XD) and when she can't find one of her mothers' nipples to nurse from, she whines and complains about it. So I help her find one to make sure she gets plenty of milk. lol Now the other ones are more mellow; Calico purrs when held. Oh, it's just some people I know who would get whoozy at the sight of such scenes that I told you about. But yeah, I totally understand that, too. I don't blame them. I wouldn't throw up because I've seen some pretty gruesome things before. And you know what's funny? Despite that, I myself get whoozy around needles at the doctors. I can get a shot or blood drawn, but I can't watch it or think about it; it just grosses me out. XD Same with the sound of heart beats; it just grosses me out too for some reason. I guess we all just have our thing or somethin'.
