I've been slowly, slowly saving up for a tablet, but I'm a long way's off... the darn thing's $2000! XP That's what I get for being a perfectionist... it's mainly so I can start drawing comic books and teach myself animation without choking my already over-crowded house with pieces of paper. That, and they're tons easier to color on a computer that way. I personally would prefer that you post the rest here, but I don't know if there are rules or anything. TWO THOUSAND GREENBACKS?!?! *faints* |

I know, it's insane... It's got it's very own touch screen, you see. That is, I can see the drawing both on the computer screen and the tablet screen. That way, I can be sure that when I put down the stylus, the line I draw will be in the right place. I'm a perfectionist!

I think fatalhilarity is trying to get Cintiq. Huge monitor that has tablet function. Which is very cool...
Tablet is actually lot cheaper.
For example, bamboo pen tablet is under $100.

Yeah, that's right- a Cintiq. My brother has used a tablet in college, and he's said that it's frustrating to have to constantly guess where you have to put the stylus next. I mean, they work all right, but we've drawn with pencil and paper almost our entire lives so we'd rather have something almost exactly like that... *whistles* wow...that sound like one gorgeous piece of equipment, that tablet...le envy :{ Don't envy me! I'm only a fraction of the way there! It makes me worry 'cause I don't wanna wait years... ugh. |
