i read this in a book and then looked it up on wikipedia. St. Stupid is the patron saint of the First Church of the Last Laugh. The Saint Stupid's Day Parade is an annual parade that takes place in San Francisco on April 1st. The somewhat anarchistic parade was founded by Ed Holmes (aka Bishop Joey of the First Church of the Last Laugh) in the late 1970's. If April 1st falls on a weekday, the parade starts at the foot of Market Street and follows a well established route through the financial district. If April 1st falls on a weekend, the parade starts at the Transamerica Pyramid, proceeds up Columbus Street and ends at Washington Square. The parade begins promptly at noon. Participation in the parade is open to the public and silly costumes are encouraged. "You're a saint, Stupid. A SAINT!!!!"  |

i think it sounds kinda like it's mocking Catholisism (did i spell that right?), but i'm not Catholic, and i think they're just doing it in fun. ^_^ sounds like something that'd be fun to watch, but i'd be too shy to want to be IN it. ^_^'

you're right, I didn't think of that until after I posted that. *^_^* You're right, Stupid is JUST like a puppy dog. he reminds me of my big black mutt, the Colonel. He's really smart, but he always acts really dumb, but he's always so happy and cuddly.  Isn't he cute? ^_^ Sorry, off topic. |

he really is a sweetie ^_^ he's HUGE and has really soft fur, so he's fun to cuddle (when he's calm  ) I'll put more pics of him on my intro thread, if you're interested. If not, I won't bother ^_^ I have some pics from when I dressed my ferret in doll clothes, too (she didn't mind a bit - she liked the little reindeer antlers so much she grabbed them from me and ran away! ^_^ ...*sniff* I miss her so much...) |

Now he just turned one and he weighs about 135 pounds...and he's SUCH a mama's boy! He cries when his sister, Grace, gets to go for a walk and he has to stay home (we can usually only take them one at a time because Colonel is REALLY hard to control on a leash) |

Oh!! Oh!! I'd LOVE to see pics of him, and your ferret!! Considering that u said u miss her, i presume she passed. i'm so sorry!!! I've had cats all my life, and i know how painful it is to lose an animal.

the worst part was that NO ONE knew what was wrong. We called every vet, ferret shelter, and pet store for hundreds of miles, and searched the internet for hours. we can only guess she had a stroke, because even though she was only three, she slowly started becoming paralyzed. it was horrible.
I will post the pics, then! (but later when i can get on my own computer - our 'net's down and i had 2 use one at the library >:[ )

You know, my older sister (who lives in a different state... ferrets are illegal here in California) had a female ferret, and she ended up dying quite out of nowhere. Her death was extremely baffling.

When i was 6..my Pet cat died, we don't now how, but we came home one day and he was dead....I hate it when pets you love die
