back on the subject, if Smart Guy's girl was murdered, most everyone agrees he'd finally lose his cool, right? i'm having a hard time picturing that...our cool, collected Smart Guy totally enraged! What on Earth would that look like?!

it's horrible, believe me. when you first find out, you don't want to believe it, then when you can't deny it, you can't hold your feelings in. then you have to put your head down and go through the funeral, then it hits you afterward that they're gone, and unless you and they are both going to Heaven, you'll never see them again. ever. it's horrible.

yes-my grandfather (who played a greater part in raising me that my father did) and my pet ferret (she was my baby and my best friend). both died young and without warning. my heart aches to think about it.

I can really understand you. My grandma died when I was 16. She has cared for me my whole childness long, cause my mom and dad had to work. But I´m not the one who is good in mourning. For me it´s important to keep her in mind and all she has told me I can tell others.

i agree. but, as i'm sure you well know, it doesn't take away the hurt, or the missing them.

Yes that´s right, but I think I can´t feel real pain like this. I don´t know why, but it doesn´t hurt me bad, when she died, I never would cry for her, or for someone else. I can´t do that.

well...maybe you were doing what my mom calls "stuffing it", which to us means that you're holding your emotions in instead of letting them cocme out naturally.

Yes, I know this, in German we say it, too. I know it´s not healthy, but I don´t know how to do it.
