Perhaps this is a dumb question, but i thought of it, so what the heck, i made a thread of it. Ya know how everybody ponders of their future home? Where would you love to live out your life? Different state, different country, or the same general area you currently reside in?

I myself want to always remain in southern California. I cannot wait to get out of my current, paticular neighborhood that's overloaded with narrow-minded, judgemental jerks, but other than that, i intend to live out my life in my general location.

Really? That sucks. Jerks are a plague. Some of my family would like to live in Washington. I couldn't do that, though. Too cold and wet. I have to be somewhere that has no snowfall, so that's one reason why i wish to remain around here. I wanna visit Washington, but live there? No way.

I want to move to a nicer neighborhood where the ocean breezes come in and there are lots of trees, like Manhattan Beach, perhaps. If I'm lucky I can build a big dream house like a gnome-infested and fully alive Addams Family house with a huge garden.

The beach is so peaceful. And the air smells sooo good; nothing like the beach. I think it'd be nice to live in a wooded are. Whenever i go to Trabuco Canyon or that general area, i never want to leave it.

I'm so indecisive with themes. I like the 1930s- 1940s Hollywood theme, i like rustic beach themes, 1700s-1800s rustic themes and lanterns and stuff like that, and then African masks and animals themes. So i have no clue how i'd end up decorating my future home.

You should come to California. It's fall, but it's warm as ever. CA "doesn't" have seasons, since it's generally warm and green year-round.

Well, I've got a lot of tastes in architecture, including Neo-Gothic, Queen Anne, Victorian, Art Nouveau, Mid-Century Modern and whatever it is you see in the Tower of Terror and Sunset Blvd. Plus anything from exotic ancient civilizations, like in The Temple of the Forbidden Eye. All you gotta do is mix them up! Both me and my mom want to make our dream houses look like they're haunted.
The main reason I chose a place that the ocean breezes reach is because I want to stay cool all year. It gets darned hot and sweaty the further inland you go... It's funny, I can perceive the change of seasons where I live. For one thing, it gets a lot hotter in the summer, and our lawn tends to die, as do the hills nearby with mustard and stuff growing on them. In the winter and springtime, when it's cooler and raining more often, that's the only time that things become green on their own accord. Like I mentioned in the "Weather" topic, I prefer cooler weather.

Whoa, my brother and i are always chatting about how we'd love to make our future houses look haunted!! I'd love it to look sorta like the haunted mansion at disneyland. The rustic furniture, gawdy wallpaper, vintage rugs and lamps...
