The story I've been writing, the one involving the girl named Maddy, has gone through many changes and different versions. Now, I have a feeling of what filmmakers go through when developing a story for a film. Like I said, the story went through different versions. In the very beginning, Maddy was just a random kid who had no relation to Eddie Valiant. Maddy was originally a teenager, around 14 years old. She was originally kidnapped and brought to Toon Town and then rescued by Kim Possible and Darkwing Duck, then told that she was the chosen one to save Toon Town from a great evil.
Pretty different, huh?

Yep, but then I decided that 14 was too old. Besides there was no prominant child character in WFRR. I tried 7 years old, but then decided that was too young. Finally I settled on 10 years old. The biggest difference is that the weasels weren't in the original concept.

The earliest version had Maddy, Roger, Kim Possible, Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny and Scooby Doo banding together, but then I figured there were too many characters along for the ride and that they weren't important to the story. For a while after that, it was just Roger and Maddy. When I thought about the weasels and how to incorperate them into the story, I hit upon the idea of that they were barred from Heaven and needed to help a human in order to break free from haunting the Acme factory for all eternity.

There's also the matter of coming up with the character growth of the weasels, how they learn the lessons of love and kindness that they missed in life. And, I've managed to figure out how the weasels spare Maddy's life! Thanks anyway guys. Anyway, I'll be having the prologue and the first chapter up soon!

The heart of this fic is the relationship between Maddy and the weasels. Stupid is the first weasel Maddy meets and he tells her their sad story. Maddy takes pity on him and gives him a handkerchief, 'cause he's crying. Stupid is surprised and moved by Maddy's kindness, despite what he has done in life and that's what motivates him to protect her from his compatriots when they try to kill Maddy. Sweet, huh?

I'm also thinking Roger could get jealous of the weasels because of Maddy's blossoming relationship with them and their own funny antics.

Well, I do not think that Roger Rabbit is a toon that gets jelaous that easily, but it may work. What makes you say that? I mean Roger not being a toon that can get jealous easily.

Originally, all the weasels were eager to attack Maddy upon learning her heritage, but Stupid had a last minute change of heart and defended her. I figured it would be stronger if he got to know her first before learning her bloodline.
