I mean really, did they think doom was a human and if they went along he'd spare them? Were they "villian" toons and didn't mind toon town being destroyed? Or did they go along because they thought it was part of the toon patrol job description?

It's really too bad they didn't get used much by disney after the film, they were going to have a appearance in the 2020 chip n dale movie where they arrested pluto but that didn't happen because the script was leaked.
