Chapter 1
All this has happened before, and it will happen again. But this time, it happened in Toontown on Main Street. This building on the corner is the Toon Patrol Headquarters. Now Wheezy Pan, the weasel that represented neverending childhood, had chosen this particular house, because of the toons who believed in him. There was Melanie Matheson, the headmistress.
Melanie: Smarty, please hurry, or we'll be late for the Navy Ball! It's important that I go every year to honor my late mother was a retired nurse in the U.S. Navy!
She believed that Wheezy Pan was the spirit of children. Then there was the head of the household, Smart Ass Weasel.
Smart Ass: Melanie, unless I find my diamond pin, we're not *going* to the ball! And if we don't go to the ball, then neither of us will be able to show our faces in public again! And if we never show our faces in... *whacks himself on the head with the top of his dresser* OUCH!
Smart Ass was more of the "practical toon." But the ones who most believed in Pan were the youngsters of the house, Stupid and Psycho. All of their stories of Wheezy Pan as a hero happened in their playroom...
To be continued...
