"Japan tsunami: A massive 8.8 earthquake has struck northern Japan. Tsunami warnings have been issued for Japan and Russia, and a tsunami watch has been issued for Hawaii and other Pacific island nations in the region."
Pooh. Quite a few major earthquakes these past few years. Also Hawaii was quickly updated to a tsunami warning. Looks like it's time to grab my boogie board!
To anyone that's within the tsunami region or close to where the earthquake striked, stay safe.
"A tsunami warning issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii after a large earthquake in Japan was widened beyond East Asia late Thursday to include Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Central and South America and the rest of the Pacific Ocean."
I'm starting to get really scared. I don't think living on high ground will be of any use. My friends in Japan aren't answering their phones. Be careful guys!
