but for my fic with Faline, it takes place in the present, not in the past
as for the squeezing through tight places thing, Faline is a cat, and from what I've obserbed when looking at what cats can do, squeezing through small spaces is what many cats do

Yes, but anthropomorphic-animal Toon bodies are usually more human-like than animalistic.

on the first part yeah as for the second, I actually wanted to give Faline some features of the cat that she is besides, it could be useful to the Toon patrol, if they couldnt get through a certain space, Faline could do it plus one if she only had no interest for love instead of not believing in it DisneyPlease!

ok, since you guy's do'nt get the thing of Faline being able to squeeze through tight places like all cats do how about I only let her have skills on being fluent in Hand to hand combat and use of weoponry and no more than that would that be alright DisneyPlease!

As I just said, anthropomorphic-animal Toon bodies are more human-like than animalistic. Unless you want her to be like Tom from Tom&Jerry, who is a "real" housecat. Besides, even if you were to use that trait, you'd have to give it to the weasels, too, and they have to be better at it than her, because that's how the real-life weasels and cats are. ok, since you guy's do'nt get the thing of Faline being able to squeeze through tight places like all cats do how about I only let her have skills on being fluent in Hand to hand combat and use of weoponry and no more than that would that be alright Oh I get it, I'm not that derpdaderp. Sure, that's fine... but really, YOU should decide. Try to pick what feels most real to you. By the way, since it's in modern time, it's fine that Faline went to college. Havard may be a bit much though.

I'm glad you guys like Sam! I'm sure she'd shrug it off, but be a bit flustered on the inside. She's a kid, er, tween after all. I'll try to put something up before my flight...which is in a few hours. After that, well, good luck seeing a chapter anytime soon. Got a lot of stuff to do at my command in preparation for my new job location as well as my upcoming eye surgery. Oh boy I'm so excited (not really but I'll fake enthusiasm)!

Well, after thinking about it
maybe giving her abilities like that is probably too much like the cat that she is
so I think I'll stick with Faline just being fluent in hand to hand combat, and use of weoponry
atleast that would give her one reason the Toon patrol would let her join with them on cases

I'm getting laser eye surgery to correct my vision. Getting a bit tired of wearing contacts and falling asleep in them or accidentally jumping in the shower with them still on...and then losing my glasses in the ocean...and when I swim towards a group thinking it's my friends and it ends up not being my friends and an awkward apology follows...yeah, just ready to have my vision corrected after nearly 10 years of horrible blurriness.
Yeah, it's about a 12 hour long trip. Gonna try to pass out - if I'm lucky to not be anywhere near kids or babies - and read a book for a good few hours...kinda excited to see my lovely man so soon! ~<3 Heh, so sorry if I spoil any hope for a few chapters of Orphan.
ANYWAY BACK ON TOPIC MOVE ALONG CHILDREN
Disneyplease, I strongly suggest you take writing course aimed towards character building and plot formation if you wish to improve on your writing. Several writers I know have done this during their school years and have seen much improvement between their stories written in the past and their stories written taking writing classes. Ask around your campus and see what they've got! I'm sure they've got a wide range. If so, look at your college plans and see if you can squeeze a few of those classes in. See if there are any writing clubs as well! Use college to your advantage!

oh I am in a writing class, but it's one that students are required to take depending on how they did on a placement test they'd have to take but in that class, all we do is annotate things, and write certain papers, never anything fun however, in the future, I do plan to take a creative writting class, where I'd probably get to make stories the reason Im not taking it next semester is because Im still a freshman and there are certain classes I have to take first before I can choose certain classes so til I get that class, I have to find out how do better writting on my own why is it that our fan characters have to NOT be perferct when we as fan artists and fan writters are demanded to be perfect at everything DisneyPlease!

Well, duuuuh, DisneyPlease, it's because if you want a well developed character such as mines and not a Mary Sue, then you have to think about FLAWS.
If your character is too perfect, lots of audiences wouldve have their eyes burned after reading about your character. I know it's hurtful of what I said but it is the truth since you don't like me being nice and tell the truth.
