Flaws are negative characteristics that make a person... well, flawed. Not perfect. It can be about anything on the character, it doesn't have to be just on the outside. People can be flawed on the inside, too. Flaws are essential to characters because in real life, people are flawed. There is not a being out there who is completely "good." Actually, there is no such thing as anything being "perfect," just "too good," if that makes sense.
Curiousity is not a flaw. Everybody is curious. Try to find something more... special. More personal. Dig deep. The best kinds of flaws are the ones special to the character. Example: Death the Kid from the anime Soul Eater has Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder, and he is extremely obsessed with symmetry. If it's not symmetrical, it's rubbish. He won't harm anything that IS symmetrical, but explodes on whatever ISN'T. He will put the symmetry of something, or someONE, above his own goal. See?
Like a member on this board said some time ago, you can't make a good character overnight. It's just not possible. You can't even make a great character in a month. Most people spend a year or two developing their character. Sometimes people spend ten years. Apparently the person who created Soul Eater, a person in their forties, came up with some of the good characters in his childhood.

Greed is a flaw. Sadism. Being overly emo all the time. Most flaws are in one's mind or personality. Mental diseases, in my eyes, are kinds of mental flaws. Like a personality disorder: a character who is only courageous while inside a vehicle and is the opposite, a complete crybaby wimp, otherwise? Sometimes mental flaws cannot be summed up with one word. Maybe the character has a skewed veiw on a certain subject. Or maybe the character is actually a nice guy, but just has absolutely no moral compass. Everybody, yourself included, believes in things most of the rest of society knows isn't true- like in World War 2, the way German soldiers were told lies about why they were going to war, and when they lost the war and the truth was revealed, they refused to believe it. Dramatic example, but still. Most people also have guilty pleasures, like Aleister-Crowley's Celie eating raw onions like apples when nobody's looking. The more complicated a character's mind is, the better, just try not to base the character off of yourself or worse, make the character too moderate or average.
... I ramble too much.

hey, does a stress addiction count as a flaw heres what I mean, Faline has 2 things that she uses to relief herself from too much stress 1. she has a punching bag that she might stay up all night praticing her moves on 2. any kind of desert that contains thick cream, like pie, chocolates, and other similar pastery's the punching bag makes Faline feel good afterwards, but the desert with cream helps her forget all her troubles, so it's the desert with cream that she prefers the most, not having her punching bag is what she can live with, but if she has no deserts with cream she will go Insane and she will take you with her so does that count DisneyPlease!

No, it doesn't. It'd only be a flaw if it say had a negative side-effect, like she'd get fat, but I don't even know if that'd work since she's a Toon. Since it doesn't have a bad side-effect, it's completely positive, so no. It doesn't count.
... Wait, let me clarify. Is it also a sugar addiction?

actually I'd say it would be more like a addiction to cream, after all, Faline is a cat
that thing with the desserts was actually inspired from what my cat does sometimes here at home

I mean, is it an addiction like Wheezy's smoking? Can she not go without her daily dose?

when Faline is stressed out, believe me, it's a addiction, she needs to have something with cream
other wise she will flip her wig
theres even a moment when she gives Smartguy a speech on how much Faline needs to have something with cream, leading up to her starting to go nuts already
Faline: (in a quick mad tone) if I do'nt have anything with cream, anytime soon I Will go Insane, *shouting like a crazy person* AND I WILL TAKE YOU WITH ME!!!!

infact, out of all the times my cat did this, this one time was the funniest one ever
one time, when my mom was having a chocolate cream filled pastery and left it on the coffee table, my cat jumped on the coffe table, sniffed the pastery while licking it, then my cat picked up the pastery with her mouth, jumped off the coffee table, and she ran away with the pasetry!
