Some of you may remember me. Some of you may not. You will never know my true identity (though I'll say that I'm not an online predator!). I am simply...The Unknown. I am a huge fan of Who Framed Roger Rabbit & the Toon Patrol. I enjoy discussing about movies, from the acting to the plot holes. Anything about theater/theatre interests me. Words of advice: Keep your hair out of your face & never turn your back on the audience!! I get a bit irritated when I see that.  I have discussed in the past about a fic I'm writing & planning to put on this board. It is based before the events of WFRR & revolves around a young orphaned girl. It still in the works *coughchapteronecough*, but I promise that it'll be up soon! Any non-personal questions? =P |

OK. I bet you're a girl. (Only because of Mion icon) AND I like psychopaths, but I'm not that convinced with Higurashi. The laughs are all the same. Why not stick to Psycho instead?

(Shakes hands with Unknown) ^^ Another thing, have you tried to translate Higurashi's title?? It's soooo stupid! (I think  ) ^^ It's "When The Cicadas Cry" I mean wha!!!  Heh heh, I hope we can still laugh together (you don't know how happy I was when I watched the end of a Higurashi fan vid... Mion, or was it Shion? fell out the window and BOOM. I laughed sooo hard!!!!) |

I laughed sooo hard!!!!) Before I start... SPOILER ALERT!! I find the title very poetic. It's hard to explain the meaning. You'll just have to force yourself to FINISH the whole series. And if you truly want to see a psychopath in Higurashi, watch the "Kai" ark (the final ark). That is when it starts to get interesting. You're right, the laughs are kind of lame. Rena and Shion sound the same. Of course, Shion's laugh sends chills down my spine...which is why she's my favorite! I also enjoyed her character development later on in the arks. Sure, I like the psychopath Shion, but the Shion in the later series becomes a much stronger and much more caring character. You'll get your Satoshi back one day, Shion-san!
