Anything done by Weird Al, except the Weasel Stomping Day song. He'd have to hate that one. Weasel Stomping Day? *looks up song for the first time* HOW COULD YOU, AL?!?!?! >:(I WAS A FAN!!!! THAT IS THE MOST HORRIBLE SONG I'VE EVER HEARD!!!!

Oh! How 'bout Witch Docter, sung by the Chipmunks? (New version) Hee hee! I bet he would like that one! Can't you just see him bouncing around, dancing to the chorus! How about the Hampster Dance? I'm planning a cmv on YouTube for that one!

Nutcase, I'm sure he'd dislike that song- that's the one that helped kill him. That's not the version that killed him, tho. This is - Oh, the Merry-Go-Round broke down And we went round and round Each time t'would miss, we'd steal a kiss And the Merry-Go-Round went "Um-pah-pah, um-pah-pah Um-pah! Um-pah! Um-pah-pah-pah!' Oh, the Merry-Go-Round broke down And it made the darndest sound, The lights went low, we both said "Oh!" And the Merry-Go-Round went "Um-pah-pah, um-pah-pah Um-pah! Um-pah! Um-pah-pah-pah!' Oh what fun - a wonderful time Finding love for only a dime. Oh, the Merry-Go-Round broke down But you don't see me frown Things turned out fine and now she's mine - Cause the the Merry-Go-Round went "Um-pah-pah, um-pah-pah Um-pah! Um-pah! Um-pah-pah-pah!" Oh, the Merry-Go-Round broke down

The point of Weasel Stomping Day is not to encourage violence against weasels- it's a wince-inducing song, I know- but to criticize people's ridiculous and potentially harmful traditions. It does it in a very harsh way, but I think his point comes across... although I see not for everyone. I just thought I'd say this because it's been brought up before. I'm sure Weird Al doesn't want anybody to really stomp any weasels, or even want animal cruelty in of itself to be funny. Nobody here has to agree with me.

*Agrees non-the-less* I just have a prob with the people who don't get it, and who actually like the song. Sick, sick, disgusting people. Crackpots.

Hey, I found it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zt0qF09UJEAnd I can just see him loving the song, "Biological Weapons" by Dr. Demento. If you listen hard near the end, you can hear a high-pitched voice singing with Dr. Demento. I know it's supposed to be a play on children's voices, but it sounds like Psycho's voice a bit. Cracked me up. www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5om13s74Rw

I'm gonna have to be honest with you: I actually like the song, but NOT because of its fictionalized violence towards weasels. The agonized screams, quite frankly, are too much. I like it more for the anti-ridiculous-traditions message and the satirizing of Rankin-Bass Christmas special songs. I do admit, I only like it a tiny, tiny bit. It's hard to get past the whole stomping thing, which I think was an awfully extreme choice on Al's part to make his point, making its actual message buried underneath it. It would've been better if he had just made a stupid-sounding holiday.

I meant the mixture of the not-getting-it and the liking-the-song, people who think that stomping innocent animals is cool and that that's what Weird Al meant. People who do get it and like it, on the other hand, I'm OK with. The former, well, they just suck sh*t.

on that subject, the "boobie trap" thing makes me wince, b/c people do actually still use leghold traps. many times, coyotes and foxes will be trapped in such devices, and they will chew their trapped leg off to escape. then, unable to hunt on only three legs, they are forced to hunt people's pets and livestock, whereupon they are shot and more traps are set. it's a horrible, gut-wrenching, vicious cycle. and it's 100% true, i don't care what u say. u can't deny it.

There's a song that I've heard called "Happy-Go-Lucky Me" by Paul Evans that really reminds me of Psycho's personality:
I can laugh when things ain't funny Ha, ha, happy-go-lucky me Yea, I can smile when I ain't got no money Ha, ha, happy-go-lucky me
It may sound silly, but I don't care I got the moonlight, I got the sun I got the stars above
Me and my filly Well, we both share Slappy-go-happy, happy-go-lucky love Well, life is sweet Whoa-ho, sweet as honey Ha, ha, happy-go-lucky me
