The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre used to scare me a bunch (well, more creepy than scary) but now it's just pure awesome. So I guess it's the scariest...although not anymore.

I haven't seen much of any scary horror movies, but the home video my classmate made (AKA The Night of the Living Baloney Nerds (Underwear Included)) really freaks me out.

Far scarier than most of the movies I've seen are some of the types of music I've listened to. And believe it or not, most of them are Christian- the point being that just because it sounds scary, doesn't mean it's Devil's music.
For fans of Tim Burton, Danny Elfman, Edward Gorey and other such gothicness, there's Creature Feature. I still get the chills listening to their songs, although I haven't heard much. And if you can stand jackhammer drums and growling, gurgling vocals there's Corpse Under Construction. For hair-raising screeches and mind-boggling speed, there's the rather dark and animalistic-sounding Horde.
...The last two bands are not for the faint of heart. My mom doesn't like the last one and doesn't want to hear it when she's around, and it still makes me nervous listening to it. Yes, they are that crazy. But the last two are Christian! XP

I finally thought of a movie that scares me. I don't know its title, and i only saw 15 minutes of it, but it's about an artist who goes blind. I'm an artist myself, and going blind is a terrible fear i have.

I Am Legend was the scariest movie i've ever seen. It was also the first PG-13 movie I've ever seen..... but all the zombie's jumping out REALLY freaked me out... and then the ending always makes me cry when he sacrifices himself for the antidote!!

When I was a kid, 'The Shining' used to scare me a lot. Many Stephen King novels/movies scared me. Especially 'Misery', since it was one of those scary movie that can actually happen (a over-obsessed fan of a novelist, she keeps him captive in her house and threatens him and crazy stuff like that. There are people like that out there).

I just watched The Others last night. Thank God, they still make haunted house movies like they used to! And the ending took me by complete surprise. I highly recommend it. There's nothing like the power of suggestion.

Would you believe that The Others has no violence at all and I still found it scary?
