Adventure With Hyenas

Ch 1: Of Weasels & Hyenas

Three years had passed since their last real adventure with Mickey and the friends the weasels had made. A familiar weasel girl was visiting Minnie's house, holding some sort of cake on her hand.

Sarah: Minnie? It's me, Sarah. My cousin and I made some Flan. Would you care to try some to see if it's any good?

Minnie's Voice: Oh, I'm sorry, but I'm too busy today. Maybe tonight when I'm not so busy.

She sighed and looked down in defeat.

Sarah: Okay...

She then saw the pink cladded leader looking at her with a "didn't go well, huh" look.

Wise Guy: Look, I don't know why you come here, I mean if the other police, besides O'Hara find us here, you'll know what'll happen to us.

Sarah: I know, Julian!

The two then began to head back home to their territory. Near the territory of the hyenas, when they almost reached their destination, they saw a chuckling green furred, green haired weasel wearing a red hat with a pink coat, smirking at Sarah.

Green Weasel: Hey, babe, what are you doing hanging with a loser like him?

Sarah: Don't call him a loser!

Wise Guy: Yeah, shove it, Ajax.

He slapped Wise Guy down as he angrily spoke.

Green Weasel: My name is Wacky! Don't use part of my real name!

Sarah: (gulps) What do you want?

Wacky (Green Weasel): What do you think? And since your pink cladded boyfriend's down for the count-

Sarah: Actually, he's my ex-boyfriend.

Wacky: (rolls eyes) Whatever. Anyway, how about you and I go around the clock? (winks) If you know what I mean.

Voice: You do that and we'll tear you limb from limb.

He turned and looked frightened as he backed away.

Wacky: Gah! Hyenas!

The trio glared as they neared the green weasel.

Shenzi: Well, well...looks like fresh meat.

Banzai: Yeah, I'd go for the dark meat.

Ed: Ha-ha-ha-ha!

He then slid under them, then ran off as Shenzi glared.

Shenzi: Hey, come back here!

The two other hyenas went after Wacky, but Sarah stopped Shenzi for a moment.

Sarah: Excuse me...uh, thanks for saving us.

Shenzi: Hey, you're next on the menu, kid.

Sarah: What's your name?

Shenzi: It's Shenzi...don't move, either of you!

She then went to join the two hyenas, who were chasing Wacky. The pink cladded leader then took Sarah's arm as they ran back to Weasel Territory quickly.

Wise Guy: Come on, before those hyenas think of killing us!

She looked concerned after what happened earlier.

Sarah: (thinking) Maybe they're not so bad...is it possible to make friends with them?

[Veggirl]

Wow! A hyena and weasel fanfic! Great idea! Heh, looks like we're both gonna put Wacky in our fanfic, eh? Keep it up!

Ch 2: Meeting New Faces

A little later, Banzai, Shenzi, and Ed came back as they laughed together.

Banzai: Man, I never get tired of chasing those weasels.

Shenzi: I'd think meerkats would've been better.

The trio then noticed something in their territory.

Shenzi: Great...they've stumbled onto our home.

Ed: Ha-ha-ha-ha!

Banzai: Uh, no, Ed. I don't think these people, whoever they are, look like they're around here.

The three creeped into their cave. The three then noticed three sleeping hyenas they never noticed before: two females and one male. The first male had his hair hanging down a short bit from the sides of his head and two big tuft hanging down in the front of the head, no stubble, smaller eyes than Ed's, and dark areas around the eyes. The second one, being the first female, had lighter gray than the others, black hair a bit longer than Shenzi's, and green irises in her eyes. The last one was dark gray with her hair covering her eyes, with also a scar on her forehead and green eyes.

Shenzi: Hey, wake up!

The three started to awaken and notice them.

Male Hyena: Oh, you must be this Shenzi girl.

Shenzi: (narrows) Yeah, so what?

Male Hyena: I think this place could use a new leader around Hyena Territory of Toon Town...my name's Jemadari. (points to the two) These two are my allies, Kijana and Terra.

Banzai: Jemadari? Kijana? And Terra? What kind of names are those?

Kijana: They're our names, stupid.

Terra: Hey, calm down, Kijana. We took a lot of energy getting to Hyena Territory.

Jemadari (Male Hyena): Yes...but that's not the only reason we came here...I came here to take up position of the leader of the hyenas.

The three looked shocked.

Shenzi: What?!

Ed: Bwa-ha?

Banzai: You're crazy! Why would you want to take up Shenzi's role as leader?

Jemadari: Because first off, I qualify for becoming a leader, and second, I'm ordering you to stand down before I knock some sense into you.

Shenzi: Over my dead body!

Terra: (gulps) Uh, are you sure you want to do this? This hyena looks pretty powerful.

Jemadari: Yes, I'm sure of it...take the boys out, I'll deal with the female.

They nodded and prepared to attack. The six then attacked each other, Terra to Ed, Kijana to Banzai, and Jemadari to Shenzi. The two groups of three ran around each other, trying to attack one another. They then jumped to them, whacking and biting each other, one bite to the arm, another to the leg, another to the back, another to the tail. They even slapped each others' faces as they glared with fury. Then, just as the six prepared to attack again, a voice shouted, interupting the battle.

Voice: What's going on?

A/N: I know it's short, but I'm not really too good with battle scenes. Plus, I don't know how else to settle the leadership. Also, thanks to Spikey for the help.

Oooh, awsome! Hope Shenzi wins, cause it's usually the females who are leader in the wild. Nice to see Jemadari and Kijana in here.

Yeah, it's true that females are the leaders of hyena clans. Anyway, it's a great chapter and I'll wait for another chapter. ;D

Ch 3: An Invite from a Weasel

The six hyenas turned as they saw Sarah, holding the flan on her plate, looking shocked.

Shenzi: (glares) What are you doing here?

Sarah: (gulps) Uh, I came here to see if you three were all right...but I see with three new hyenas...apparently not.

Terra: And who are you?

Banzai: That girl's a weasel...her name's Sarah.

Sarah: Why are you guys fighting?

Shenzi: (points to Jemadari) This hyena is wanting to claim leadership of the territory!

Sarah: (to Jemadari) Why would you want to do that?

Jemadari: Because we have travelled a long way from here...getting away from a lion that destroyed our home. We came here and I thought if I could take leadership here by fighting the leader, we would be welcomed.

She sighed and looked at them, placing the flan down.

Sarah: (shakes her head) Guys, you don't need to fight to prove that you want to be respected nor who should be leader.

Jemadari: But-

Kijana: Okay, why are you being nice to us?

Sarah: Well...Weasel Territory is next to the Hyena Territory...so technically, I think we're neighbors. Can't we just let bygones be bygones?

Ed: Ha-ha-ha-ha!

Banzai: Yeah, why should we?

Sarah: I was going to offer you some of my and my cousin's home-made flan.

Terra: (confused) Flan?

Shenzi: It's that spanish cake those hispanics make.

Sarah: Anyway...I was wondering...Shenzi, I was going to plan a slumber party with Minnie and Daisy...I was wondering if you would like to come too.

Shenzi: (shocked) What? Are you nuts? You barely know me, aside from us trying to eat you, that is.

Banzai: Yeah, mostly the "try-to-eat-you" part.

Kijana: Well, I've never been to a slumber party before...I guess I should go...I guess.

Terra: Um...me too.

Jemadari: (concerned) A weasel, inviting a hyena to a party? That is strange...

Shenzi: (groans) Fine, I'll go...but I won't like it.

She smiled to them.

Sarah: I'm glad.

Jemadari: It was uh...nice to meet you, Miss Sarah.

Sarah: (placing the flan down) Here's some flan if you guys want any.

She then left as the six hyenas, fighting over the food, ate pieces of it.

Banzai: Shenzi, I still don't trust her!

Shenzi: I know...but invite me and two girls I barely even know?

Kijana: (glares) You know this will only lead to another battle at another time.

Banzai: Oh yeah? Bring it!

Kijana: Oh, we will when that time comes!

Ed laughed as Jemadari sighed and looked at Terra.

Terra: Too rational, I think?

Jemadari: I think so...

Shenzi was invited to a slumber party? Wow, guess there's a first for everything. ^_^ Hope every thing goes ok.

A slumber party? Oh boy, that sounds interesting! ;D

Ch 4: Sarah's Confession

That night, at Minnie's house, Minnie and Daisy (in night clothes with Sarah) looked shocked after hearing her explanation.

Both: You did what!?

Daisy: You actually invited hyenas to our party!?

Sarah: Shenzi looked like she needed a friend...outside the Hyena Territory that is...

Then, the doorbell rang.

Sarah: (smiles) It must be them!

She opened the door as she saw Shenzi, Terra, and Kijana (who glanced) at the front door.

Sarah: Hi, guys!

Shenzi: This better be worth it!

The door closed while outside, Banzai, Jemadari, and Ed watched from the right side of the house.

Banzai: Ed, I don't trust those things for a second!

Jemadari: (sighs) I trust the weasel...but just to be sure, I am making sure that nothing harms either Kijana nor Terra are harmed or harrassed. You two can leave if you want to.

Banzai: No way! Shenzi's our bud! 'sides, she takes care of us like a whole clan.

Ed: Bwa-ha-ha-ha!

The three headed to the window while the girls inside, after instructing the hyenas not to eat them, looked at the bottle. Minnie spinned it first and it pointed to Sarah.

Minnie: Sarah? Truth or dare!

Sarah: I'll go with truth!

Minnie: Tell me, during your cousin's time with Judge Doom, did anything happen to you?

Sarah: (looks down) Yeah...in fact, I was secretly a member of the Toon Patrol myself...

They gasped.

Terra: What!? You mean to tell me you were somehow involved in the incidents?

Daisy: Well, she did create the Dip and had her recipe stolen by the judge.

Sarah: (nods) What's worse was...(sighs) while he gave missions to my cousin and friends, he gave me the special missions...do you remember the election for being judge bought by Doom?

They nodded.

Sarah: I was the one that helped rigged it...(sadly) I didn't like doing what I wasn't suppose to do...but he told me if I didn't, he would kill my only other relative...you guys know him as Greasy.

Shenzi: What!? That perverted weasel is your cousin!?

Daisy: Welcome to my world.

Kijana: So that means...(angrily) You! How dare you set all weasels and hyenas into the "evil" category!

She prepared to pounce, but Terra stopped her.

Terra: Hey, please! She didn't have a choice in it!

Sarah: (sighs) Neither did Greasy or Psycho.

Shenzi: What about the other weasels? Stupid, Smarty, and Wheezy?

Sarah: They're kinda loyal to each other...I'm not sure about them...though my ex-boyfriend...he would've done something for me...(narrow) if he didn't run off like a coward before Psycho became as he is.

They looked surprised at how she spoke so seriously.

Sarah: But anyway, less talk, (smiles) more fun, okay?

She spun the bottle next, which pointed to Shenzi.

Sarah: Truth or dare!

Shenzi: Oh great!

She groaned as she thought up an answer.

Shenzi: Dare me!

Sarah: Hmmm...now, I dare you to...

What did Smart Guy do? This is getting better and better. ^_^

[Veggirl]

Oh boy, I wonder what Shenzi has to do. ^_^

Ch 5: A Lion's Game

As Sarah was trying to think of the dare, Banzai looked at Ed.

Banzai: Man, a girl weasel, creator of the Dip?! That's just messed up, man!

Ed: (nodding) Ha-ha-ha-ha!

Jemadari: But still...it's not as bad as when Scar took my home from us.

Banzai looked shocked after the mention of Scar's name.

Banzai: Whoa, time out! You're telling me that same lion that nearly killed us after failing a mission for him was the one who took your home?!

Jemadari: (raising a brow) You know that lion?

Banzai: Know him? We used to work for that overgrown lion!

Ed nodded in agreement. Unknown to them, a growl was coming from the bushes as yellow eyes glanced at the three hyenas.

Banzai: But what's important is this: he's not going to come back and I doubt he'll ever be back!

Then, a lion's roar was heard, shocking the hyenas and the girls inside.

Minnie: What was that?

They looked out the window as a dark orange lion with black mane and a scar jumped and crashed to the window, scaring the anthro females.

Daisy: Ahhh! Lion!

Shenzi: (shocked) Worse...it's Scar!

He chuckled wickedly.

Scar: Shenzi, we meet again. And I see you and your new "friends" have gathered dinner up for me.

Sarah: Hey, that's not true! She doesn't even like you!

Scar: (slaps her) Silence!

She was tossed to the ground outside of the house.

Terra: (angrily) You...you destroyed our home!

Kijana: How dare you show your face again!

She prepared to pounce on the lion, but Scar roared as he used his claws to knock her outside of Minnie's house.

Minnie: Girls, run for it!

The anthro girls ran as the hyenas growled, glaring at the lion.

Banzai: Shenzi! I think this party's over! Come on!

She glared once more to Scar, then joined the others as they ran from the lion, who smirked and crushed the popcorn that was spilled on the floor.

Scar: Run, my prey, run...your timing is inevitable. He-he-he....

Uh-oh, this doesn't look good. Not good at all. Wonder what happens next.

Scar's back! That is worse then Palpatine or Serpentor returning!
