I most certainly agree!
In a clip of the Roger Rabbits cartoon spin ride, in the walk through part, Smartguy does mention something about planning to become the Mayor of ToonTown!
heck on a documentary of the 1920's, the roaring twenties, I heard something about a mobster plotting to kill his way to becoming the president of the U.S
so goes to dhow you that if there is anything that Smartguy would wish for, it would be what any guy like him would want, POWER!

I think that Smart A** would've wished to erase one or more of the other weasels (particularly Stupid or Greasy) from time or something, since he doesn't act nice around them much.

I do agree he might've wished for that, but in my opinion he would more often wish for the rest of his gang to stop laughing as much as they do. Hence him saying that all through the movie.
