I don't think Psycho was ever in an asylum. I believe that he was "born" that way.

I personally believe he lives up to his name. Anybody going around with a strait jacket and a razor, and giggling like that... and anyway, I'm sure the people at Disney wanted him to be genuinely psycho. I think the creators have the final word concerning this sort of thing. I like to think that he had always been a little off-center all his life, and something sent him off the deep end later on. What he did to get himself in an asylum probably has something to do with his razor. I agree |
