Chapter: 23

“I told Vanessa to take Kenny to her room, just to keep him safe.’’ said Juarez.

“Trust me Juarez, with her; I don’t think Kenny is safe.’’ said Smartguy.

“I guess you are right, but, what do I have to lose.’’ Said Juarez, then she turned around and looked down.

Smartguy didn’t know what to do. He thought for a minute, and then he came to Juarez and gave her a hug around her waist.

“Well, we’re alone.’’ said Smartguy.

“Not for long. What if Br’er comes here and be surprised?’’ Juarez asked.

“Don’t worry babe, I bet right now he‘s at the dining table.’’ said Smartguy.

Juarez smiled at Smartguy. Smartguy gazed at Juarez beautiful hazel eyes. The two began to embrace each other. Then the door burst out open. Br’er became red in anger. He came up to Smartguy, pushed him to the wall, and shoved up a switchblade upon his neck. Juarez gasped.

“Hey Br’er, I thought you were in the dining room.’’ said Smartguy.

“I was until I was thinking about how long it takes for my florist to delivere those roses o my maid. ’’said Br’er.

“LEAVE HIM ALONE!!” Juarez yelled.

“Not now can’t you see I’m busy, doll.’’ said Br’er.

Juarez became angry and then she kicked Br’er in the groin leaving him lying on the floor. Juarez and Smartguy ran out of the room. Smartguy took his disguised off.

“C’mon Smartguy, I know where you can hide.’’ said Juarez.

Smartguy nodded following Juarez. She stopped at a room. They went inside and they were surprised to see Latoyah tide up to a chair.

“LATOYAH, WHAT HAPPENED?!?!’’ Juarez asked.

“I came here to rest like I said until suddenly someone put knock out gas on me, so then when I woke up I found myself tied to a chair.’’ said Latoyah.

Juarez untied Latoyah. As soon as she was free she stared at Smartguy.

“Who in the world is he?’’ Latoyah asked.

“Oh, I forgot, this is Smartguy.’’ said Juarez.

“Oh, the one that you said is a charming weasel?’’ Latoyah asked.

Juarez nodded.

“We gotta look for the others and get out of here quick.’’ said Smartguy.

“Yes, we should, and I know where they are.’’ said Juarez.

Latoyah and Smartguy followed Juarez.

Chapter: 24

Juarez found Vanessa and the other girl’s room, she entered and the girls weren’t there.

“Oh no, where are they?’’ Juarez asked.

“And where’s Banzai with Killer and Techna?’’ Smartguy asked.

Juarez eyes widen and turned to face Smartguy.

“Who else came, Smartguy?’’ Juarez asked.

“The guy’s, the hyenas, Techna, Wheezy’s girlfriend, Clyde, Bonnie, someone new Greasy met, and Red.’’ said Smartguy.

Juarez sighed while Latoyah humph. They came out of the room and ran downstairs.
“Let’s check the basement; they might be there.’’ said Latoyah.

They nodded, and then they followed Latoyah. They went into the basement which looked like no one entered .It had little cracks on the wall, spider webs on the corner of the ceiling, and dusts everywhere. Then the door suddenly closed by itself, they gasped as they turned to the door, Smartguy tried but it wouldn’t open.

“Great, the doors locked.’’ said Smartguy.

A growl suddenly was heard, they turned to the direction where the growl was coming from, and saw lots of Dobermans and Rottweiler’s with Br’er standing in front.

“Well, well, well, looks like somebody wanted to escape my workers.’’ said Br’er.

“You’re starting to get on my last nerve Br’er.’’ said Smartguy.

“Whatever, besides your gonna stay here until tomorrow, but don’t worry you’ll have company.’’ said Br’er.

There was a cage where the others are, the dogs pushed them to the cage. Once they did Br’er locked it with a key and then he puts it inside his jacket.

“Hope you guy’s enjoy yourself.’’ said Br’er, then he left.

“HOBKNOCKER!” Vanessa yelled.

Puzzled, Maria looked at Vanessa.

“What does that mean?’’ Maria asked.

Vanessa sighed, she whispered to Maria. Maria eyes widen then had disgust on her face.

“EWWWW!’’ said Maria.

“And illegal.’’ said Vanessa.

Chapter: 25

Shelbi passed Kenny to Juarez, Smartguy groan, Juarez walked towards Smartguy and puts her hand on his back.

“At least you and the guy’s tried.’’ said Juarez.

“JUAREZ, WE’RE NOW STUCK HERE WITH THESE GUARDDOGS, BR’ER LEFT AND
YOU SAY THAT?!’’ Vanessa asked.

“Well Vanessa, we can’t get out of here since Br’er has his keys with him.’’ said Juarez.

Vidia eyes widen, she looked down, and then she looked at Wheezy.

“Wheezy, before anything else happens, I just wanted to say that I loved you and I wanted to stay with you. I felt so lonely back at Australia when you left, and I wanted to come here in ToonTown to live with you.’’ said Vidia.

Wheezy smiled at her, he came close to her, and then gave her hug.

“Maybe something good will happened.’’ said Wheezy.

“That’s touchy and all, but when will it happened?’’ Vanessa asked.

“What do you mean?’’ Maria asked.

“I mean, if something “GOOD’’ is about to happened, then let it be right now.’’ said Vanessa.

Then all of a sudden they heard a jingle from outside. The guard dogs began to bark, they ran to the doggy door to go outside, leaving them all but Killer, Techna, and Chiboa confused.

“What just happened?’’ Shelbi asked.

“I think what Vanessa said happened.’’ said Greasy

“But what is that jingle that made the guard dogs leave and why?’’ Latoyah asked.

“It’s that Canine Crunchy jingle.’’ Techna said.

“Yeah, man, it makes all dogs go loco.’’ said Killer.

“Then explain to me why you dogs didn’t go loco?’’ Latoyah asked.

“I don’t go loco for Canine Crunchy; I only eat Beneful.’’ said Techna.

“Me too.’’ said Chiboa.

“I just go for meat like a dead prey.’’ said Killer.

“Makes perfect sense.’’ said Latoyah.

A door was opened, Noah and the others that are Vanessa’s friends came.

“NOAH, GARY, AND CURLY J, I’m so glad to see you guys.’’ said Vanessa.

“We came as soon as we got a urgent message from Eva saying that she saw you guys here.’’ said Noah, who then opened the cage door with a key.

“How did you get the key which Br’er hid in his jacket to the cage?’’ Vanessa asked.

“We saw Br’er come outside and put it under a matt, so when he left we had the chance to sneak in and get them.’’ said Noah.

“But, what about the guard dogs that just went outside?’’ Vanessa asked.

“We found a Canine Crunchy van, nobody was in it, so when we played that song the dogs came in the van and started eating, so we locked them in.’’ said Curly J.

Vanessa gave Noah a slight punch on the shoulder, and then Noah gave her a hug. Wheezy smirked; she began to glare at him.

“Whatever Wheezy.’’ said Vanessa.

“We better hurry; Br’er is going to announced that Serengeti is going to be history.’’ said Noah.

“NO! BUT WHY WOULD HE WANT TO DO THAT?!?’’Maria asked.

“I don’t know, but I’ll tell you one thing that weasel is crazy.’’ said Noah.

“Tell me something I don’t know.’’ Vanessa said in her sarcastic voice, while rolling her eyes.

“Maria, we just figured out something else too……we figured out that in Heaven’s will you were supposed to own the Serengeti.’’ said Gary.

Maria eyes widen, she had an angry look, she knew one thing, Br’er gotten into her last nerve. She wishes that he was right here so she can start turning into a hyena and kill him.

“So, what are we gonna do now?’’ Shenzi asked.

“First we gotta get out of here, and then we gotta get to the mayor of ToonTown first before Br’er does.’’ said Maria.

They all nodded. Once they left Br’er mansion and began running to ToonTown.

Now its just me but that hole Capter sounds like one big set up. By one person that being BR’ER just to kill all them off. Just by what I read I my be wrong? that use see what the rest of the Weasel Board has to say about it.

Chapter: 26

Meanwhile Br'er has made it to ToonTown Hall. He entered and saw the stairs all the way up tithe mayor's office. When he saw an elevator next to the stairs he had an evil grin. Br'er took out a walkie talkie from his jacket.

"Hey you guy's, did they escaped?" Br'er asked.

"Yup they did, we saw them and we also saw some kids with them, they could be their friends too." said Br'er Fox.

"Perfect. I want you two to come to ToonTown Hall, get a rugwrinch, and unplugged the wire of the elevator." said Br'er.

"Why?" Br'er Bear asked.

"So they won't have to make it to the mayor's office after I get there." said Br'er.

"Ok,Boss." said Br'er Fox, then puts his walkie talkie away.

Br'er chuckled, he went to the elevator, and pressed the button that says "30". Meanwhile, the Toon Patrol and the others made it. They got off of the Dodge that they used to drive there and began to enter. When they did, they saw the stairs all the way up to the maoyrs office.

"AH MAN, WE GOTTA USE THE STAIRS JUSTA GO TO THE MAYORS OFFICE?!?" Banzai yelled.

"I can imagine Br'er have to walk up all those stairs." said Greasy.

"Hey look, an elevator." said Vanessa, then pointed at the elevator.

"Wow, well that was conveinient." said Clyde.

"Im gonna use the stairs, that could be a trap that Br'er pulled off." said Maria.

"Dont worry, it's not like Br'er knew we escaped by some spies and told them to set a trap there." said Vanessa.

"Well, I don't know about you guys but I'm coming with Maria." said Shelbi.

"Count on us." said Shenzi, with Banzai, Ed, Techna, and Killer.

Thanks guy's." said Maria.

"Me too." said Curly J.

Vanessa eyes widen and looked at Curly J puzzled.

"You Curly J?" Vanessa asked.

Curly J began to shrug. He walked up next to Shelbi and looked at her greyish blue eyes. Shelbi blushed a little and turned her head the other way.

"Well, we better go." said Maria.

They nodded then went up the stairs. As for the Toon Patrol and some others left, they went inside the elevator and began to press the button that says "30". It was all going good until something happened. The lights began to turn off and the elevator stopped.

"What just happened?" Noah asked.

"WE'RE TRAPPED!!!" Psycho yelled.

"But how, Br'er didn't know we escaped unless.....oh that JERK!!" Vanessa said.

Kenny whimpered a little, Juarez calmed him down by rocked him back and forth, telling him that everything is ok. At the sametime, Br'er Fox began to snicker.

"That'll slow 'em down, right Bear?" Br'er Fox asked.

Br'er Bear nodded.
