Is this strictly stand-up only? If so, I'll stick with Robin Williams for now. I tend to like the big names the most. It's difficult for me to learn about lesser-known stand-up comics (or any sort of comedy, for that matter).

Ehh, i think you have to have a mature sense of humor to like Robin Williams. his comedy was way too smart for me. not that he's bad, he's just not my kinda guy; i don't get his humor. x3

What is it that you mean by mature exactly? I've understood him well enough since I was a teenager. So... is this stand-up comics only or what? 'Cause Robin Williams is all I got, unless you count Eric Idle's recent exploration of the form.

Fatal: eh, it's like Seinfeld to me. like, Dane Cook and Mitch are more immature humor, and Robin Williams is more mature. i get what i mean, but i dunno how to explain x3

Seinfeld...? Well, from what little I've seen of Seinfeld, they're not much alike. I kinda get that being a "show about nothing" means that nothing in particular happens, but Robin Williams is more like an encyclopedia of popular culture and social absurdities.
So is this strictly stand-up or not?

Sorry if I've sounded impatient. In that case... I mostly like the classics. People like Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd, Charlie McCarthy, W.C. Fields, The Marx Bros., Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello... more recent ones include Monty Python, what I've seen of Saturday Night Live, Bill Murray, and Jim Carrey. I just remembered- there is one other stand-up I like: Bill Cosby.
