Arty (I hope he doesn't mind me calling him that: that's what Artemis Fowl's father calls him in the books) obviously has a very strong opinion on slash stuff, and he has a right to say so. He didn't criticize your art or talent, he criticized what you depicted. In other words, he didn't criticize you, he criticized slash in general. At least, that's how I took it.
I think it's important to let others know you won't sway your standards. You all respected me when I came clear that I believe slash is wrong. What makes Arty different?

Psycho: because you were very polite. i think there is a difference between how you were not rude and "That is both wholly immature and absolutely disgusting. " that hurt. that hurt a lot. because you made it clear that even though you don't like it, you are still respectful. personally, i think it's pretty rude to do what artemis did. there are things of the sort that i find offensive but i do not go into threads just to insult them. that's uncalled for.

Lol, not to seem rude, but Harley is right. Artemis Fowl was rude in saying it like that. He could have just simply left the thread without a word and moved on. It's not that hard. I've done it many times on different sites before.
As for psychoangel, you were polite and simply stated how you feel. For that, I respect you.
I, mostly, don't find slash, yoai, or homosexuality in any form wrong because I was raised....what the word? Sexuality blind...? Same for being color blind.
Now, I've stated my opinion and I plan to stick up for Harley. He's has a right to be hurt by what Artemis Fowl said.

Opinion is not fact, and not everyone has to have the same opinions.

The very fact that he ignored your warning says that he only wishes to cause trouble for people and make you feel bad.

It's like walking into a gay bar and then screaming about the gay people -being- there. You -knew- what you were in for when you clicked the link just as you knew what you were in for when you (hypothetically) went into that bar.

I don't care if people disagree with something, but try to at least make an -intelligent- disagreement.

Anyway, Harley, what you got was something like a half-***ed critique. They told you only the negatives, so please, don't feel like you can't do something just because someone is being negative.

Honestly, there is hardly anything there to get upset about. Two cartoon weasels hugging each other. Big whoop. It's not like there was anything going on that you might not see out in the community. I've seen guys hug each other, and no, they aren't all gay either.
