Tossing and turning didn't help. The pain was still there. The throbbing in his chest wouldn't leave him. It was almost too painful. It made him want to kill himself.
Wheezy finally exited his bed with a groan, running a hand into the sweaty fur of his neck. Standing up only lead to him wobbling back down. He groaned again before standing and forcing himself to stand straight.
He made his way to the kitchen with difficulty. When he finally entered the dark room, he flicked the lights on and rubbed his eyes to the sudden brightness.
All he wanted was water, to calm his throat for the night, but something in the newspaper got his bloodshot eye.
Toons Can Die From Cancer!
Wheezy only stared at it for a minute before he shrugged it off. Toons were save as long as their owner remembered to put their immune system to maximum.
....There owner did that....didn't he?
Wheezy groaned and threw the paper away, knowing Smart Guy wouldn't care in the morning. Most likely get Stupid or whoever was up to go get it.
...Not to self...Sleep late...

No, it's good how it is. If you want to, sure. "Kurious" would certainly capture the scruffy and uneducated vibe I often get from weasels, but somehow "Shifty and Curious" feels better for me. Thanks for helping me brainstorm, by the way. |

The sun that gleamed though his window woke him. Asking for more sleep was out of the question...
Wheezy got up, grumbling. He glanced at the pack of cigarettes on his desk before grasping them in his hand and lighting on.
The sudden yelp and laughing made him realize everyone else was already. Stupid most likely hurt himself again...
Which means Wheezy didn't have to get the paper.
Shaking his head, the weasel walked out. He leaned on his door frame, simply listening to Smart Guy yell.
"Something bothering you, amigo?"
Wheezy opened his eyes and glared at Greasy, The darker weasel simply crossed his arms, his trench coat slung over his shoulder.
Wheezy didn't answer, but growled, a sign that Greasy should buzz off.
The Hispanic weasel did nothing. He ran a hand though his greased black hair before saying, "Heard you saw Winne the other day."
Wheezy shrugged. "Don't really care 'bout her....you can have her..."
Greasy smirked, but Wheezy left before the darker weasel could say anything.
Blinking into the kitchen, he saw Smart Guy hit Psycho with a newspaper when he didn't stop laughing.
...Maybe it would be best to eat out for breakfeast...

Well... pretty much everything, but I was thinking specifically his chance to meet Winnie. You'd have to feel pretty awful if you weren't interested in a gal like her, huge lips or not.
Believe me- as an adult male, I can say that if I had looser morals about sex and were a bachelor weasel, I would've jumped at the chance. Of course, I believe in abstinence until marriage, but I'm putting myself in a weasel's shoes here, so to speak.
...I'll stop talking about it now.
