Well, I'm not good at writing literature but since you want two more I guess I can go in. If psychoangel is already taken in, it's okay! This'll be good practice for wheezy I'll just think of some emotions along the way... (even the ones that'll probably never occur, but oh well  ) Happy: Wheezy grabs the money from Smart ass's hands, licking his right thumb as he flips each bill over, muttering to himself each time. Feeling satisfaction from the amount, Wheezy gives himself a little smile, placing the money in his black vest as he drags on a cigarette. Sad: Wheezy gazes mournfully in an empty box of cigarettes, almost tearing it open to make sure there wasn't any stray cigarettes he missed out on. He sighs as he throws the box over his shoulder, patting his hat to see if there was any sticks up their either. Nope, not one stick. He nibbles on his lips for a moment, before raising his left hand and attempts to suck the nicotine out of his nails. Afraid: As he gazes upon the green, acidic liquid right in front of him, he suppressed several shivers from running off his body. Without anyone noticing, he takes a light step back from the DIP, nauseation filling his whole body as he thinks of the thing suddenly coming alive and eat him. Wheezy was about to light up another cigarette before looking at it briefly, his hand shaking along with his other one as he attempts to light it. With minor success, he places the cigarette in his mouth and starts to breath in short quick bursts. Angry: His face started to turn a light red as he chews harshly on his cigarette, giving Psycho an intense glare like he was stealing his soul. Psycho blinks and lets out a little giggle before his smile disappears, backing up a bit before he quickly scuttles away. Wheezy calms a bit from seeing Psycho running away and silence setting in again, breathing in deeply and blowing out a cloud. He unhooks his yellow-stained nails from the couch, resting his elbows on the back of it before he looks at a now red stained shirt. Love: Wheezy blinks and turns his head away, blushing slightly as she only giggles and wraps her arm around his. Wheezy scratches his right cheek as she cuddles up against him, looking away from her as his blush intense and he starts to sweat. Disgusted: Wheezy's jaw drops along with several cigarettes as he looks upon, what Stupid calls, food. He looks up and sees that he wasn't the only one with the review. As Stupid gives off a proud smile, he walks back into the kitchen, humming all the way. As soon as the door closed, everyone looks at each other in mortification. Wheezy quickly picks up a nearby plant and dumps the it into the pot, everyone following suite before rushing back to their seats. Stupid pokes his head out for a moment before smiling chidishly, everyones either whistling nervously or twidling their thumbs. Stupid nods to them and his head disappears again. Wheezy looks at the plant again and his right eye twitches, the plant limping over and started to smoke like it was on fire. That's all I have for now  |

That was quite good, too. Some nice pantomime here- not everyone can write emotions without dialogue. It's definitely calmer than psychoangel's work, but I can still feel the emotions. I especially liked the "fear" segment.
Do you think you can have him speak, too?

Sure, I just always tought of him to be the silent type cause he kinda coughs and wheeze, his laugh is just a cough ._.
I'll think up something soon, but right now I'm on my itouch so it's gonna be really difficult, I should be able to post some up maybe tomorrow.

Oh, I know he doesn't speak in the movie. It's just he does speak in Car Toon Spin, so if Disney thinks he speaks, then I do too. He just speaks very little and strains to do so.
I'm mainly curious what sort of speech pattern you'd give him.
Have you heard his lines in Car Toon Spin? My brother made a dialogue-only track from somebody else's audio ride-through, and I can direct you to it.

I'd always figured figured he have no accent of any kind (used to think he was French...-_-' ).
Anyway, it seems Wheezy wouldn't explain much, due to his smoking.

Hmm... I dunno about the lack of an accent. After all, speaking very little doesn't necessarily mean that you have no accent... I was thinking more along the lines of dropping g's or slang.
But of course, June Foray had her own ideas of what his speaking voice sounded like when she did his lines for Car Toon Spin, so that's what I would go by.

Oh, yeah, I knew that. When I say "no accent", I mean "born in America and talked like American..." ...Ugh, I never thought about it and now it's too late to change his voice in my stories....  That...and I listened to the Toon Spin audio you gave me and when Wheezy (I think...) talked, he didn't seem to have any kind of slang, just...raspy. |

Well, he does slur his words a bit, and says basically what you'd expect a 1940s Hollywood/LA-area street-dweller to say, like in the movies of the period. He says "ain't" and "dame"...
Oh, and if it sounds like Granny smoked too many cigarettes, that's June. I had forgotten that I showed it to you...
I had always associated the term "Mid-Atlantic" with having no particular accent, like my grandma...
By the way, you can write a second-draft, if you feel dissatisfied with any your stories. I've never understood why no one who posts their fanfics here feels comfortable about doing a new version... except Eternity, I suppose.

No, that take WAY too long and I kinda like how I did Wheezy's character. And, yes, it did sound like Granny hicked up on cigarettes.
I can understand how he slurs his words, since he's a chain-smoker. I used to be one.
I never thought about it until now...

Actually, I recently got your Car Ride thing downloaded onto my ipod (Thank ya Fatal ) I was acutually quite pleased on how each one of them has more lines so it seems more spread out and even, and it shows more communication between the weasels. The only thing that I found a bit distasteful was Wheezy's voice. I'd thought it'd be more manly and less feminine, but on the positive side, June Foray did a wonderful job I also don't get why Charles Fleischer didn't do Greasy. But whoever did Greasy otherwise did a pretty good job . He does sound like he's losing his touch on Psycho, but as aging goes, and this include rock stars to, they sometimes just can't hit that note anymore, so I think it's more of an age-wise thing Does Sleazy also have malpropism? Cause I hear another weasel with a differant voice besides Smart Guy that seems to have malpropism as well. Jessica's voice I also found distasteful, it's like Wheezy's situation only the other way around. She sounds more manly and less feminine, especially when she says 'Your gonna get it' or 'Your never gonna succeed' when Smartguy is there also, she sounds so off and weird ._. In the later part and it seemed to have taken it's time, but why was that cow mooing so much? Was he getting dipped? |
