Well, if attempting to melt thousands of toons into a puddle isn't attempting mass murder, than what is?
As for Buck, I wouldn't be surprised if he did improve their image in the eyes of the public. It seems to me that he doesn't have anything to do with previous weasel cartoon characters. Unfortunately, in my eyes, he could stand looking a bit more like a real weasel. I dunno, maybe he's supposed to look like an ancient one...

Well, yeah, it's Ice Age. The sloths in that don't look like the sloths now a days.
...That, and he looks cute to me... ;D

Ha, buck's awesome..... though a little bit on the crazy side and like Lynx said, I think he's like the prehistoric weasel.... so he's the toon patrols ancestor in a way? I dunno

I wouldn't say that he was their ancestor. That would imply that the Toon Patrol are the end result of a thousands-of-years-old family tree, which somehow changed from CG to traditional and got a totally different head shape along the way. And if Ice Age were at all connected to the WFRR world, who created all those characters? Especially creative Cro-Magnons? I seriously doubt it. That's why I think in the WFRR world, the Ice Age movies are works of fiction with actors.
But this all opens a huge, entirely different can of worms...
Anyway... if we were to suppose that Ice Age was as fictional as Roger's shorts- that is, filmed on a physics-defying set with toon actors- then yes, I suppose he would be good PR for weasels. Now, if they were an example of a cartoonist rewriting history (one of my pet theories), then I doubt anyone alive in 1947 would remember who Buck was. Of course, who was this cartoonist and when did he/she create them?
This... made things a heck of a lot more complicated.

Well, so, i'm russian, (that' s why my english could be bad), well, i'm a little busy now, thats why my reply will be short. I'm really sorry for weasels, as they always portrayed in cartoons as potential, or factually criminals. Only because they looks nosy and cunning. It's realy rasism-minded((( Nobody saw good weasel in cartoon. I hope someday will be a cartoon and one weasel will say (maybe, he could be not Good, too) something like: "how many times cops stoped me, only because i'm a weasel"
As a say as russian, i can't remember any russian cartoon with bad weasels. Usually (maybe in 60 percent), foxs and wolfes played a negative role.

Okay, for some reason the link had a couple of zeros added to the end. I modified that post, so it should work now. Actually, it'd be WAY faster and easier if you just looked at the links in my signature. All of my comic book scans and most of my other images can be found in my Photobucket account.
I wish people would notice my signature... I don't like tooting my own horn just to bring all that stuff to people's attention.

Thanks. I do it so other Toon Patrol fans can learn about other weasels they can draw or write for, and to spread the word about them.

The weasels' involvment in trying to wipe Toontown off the map I imagine would have made things worse for other Toon weasels. Weasels already have bad raps, but this would have really made life harder for them. No one would want to have anything to do with weasels. They would be shunned by everyone in any place. What I'm saying is that the TP weasels hurt their fellow weasels through their actions. I do think it would have bad effects on their lives. But Doom wanted all toons dead right? We're they promised to keep their lives. or was it money? then again they are eraseing their only home. They're childhood. In my thoughts they didn't do it with a passion. They made a lot of mistakes. WiseGuy kinda gave Valiant time to react. He spun his knife before he put out the blade. Could they really be that eveil? Whoops there I go again!
