I say Smartass. Because that is his actual name. Smarty and Smart guy are good, but they're more nicknames than anything. So, sorry if I offend some of you guys, but I don't really think of it as a swear word. It's his name. So I use it.

I don't think it really matters which name you use... Back in the 80's, you could totally get away with a PG movie character named Smartass. Now, I suppose everyone calls him Smart Guy cuz it's more appropriate. I just prefer to call him Smartass, cuz I'm old school like that  |

I prefer to Call him Smart Ass. The reason is the same one as Spikey's and Mondo Gecko's. Plus I actually like to swear to tell you the truth. I CANNOT LIE!!!

... In WFRR, Smart Ass called Eddie wise guy.... I personally don't think that name fits him, either. When i think of the word "Wise", i think of a really, really, really, really, really, really old man.

I prefer Smart Ass as well, but for the sake of the sensitive and younger members of the board, I either call him Smart A or Smart Guy (mainly in my censored fic) here. I really don't want to get banned. However, I find it unfair that I am not able to use his name. =/ I admit, I do cuss. A lot. For a young woman. It's a bit of a turn-off for most people; however, I can't help but yell the f-word whenever I am frustrated at something, get really excited, or stub my toe. And it really didn't help to grow up with a retired-sailor-turned-locksmith for a Father...and watching R-rated movies since I was 6 or 7, but I shouldn't fully blame 'em. I was a bit of a parrot when I was a toddler. Oh, wait. I still am.  *laugh* ...I think I figured out why I've been single throughout most of my teenage life. Hee hee...heh...*goes to cry in a corner* |
