is it just me, or does he seem to REALLY hate Eddie? I mean, look at his face when he's fighting Eddie in the bar. Pure hatred there! Why do you think that is?

Well, Eddie stuffed a bar of soap in his mouth. That'd be enough for me to hate someone, if they jammed soap into my mouth.  Besides, Eddie really, really hated Toons, like, he practically radiates hatred, and Smart Ass might have picked up on that. And Smart Ass doesn't seem to be the type to go, "Oh, well. Hate me if you want, I don't care." So. . . . Yeah. You know? |

hmmm, an excellent point. anyone else? i personally think there's something running deeper there, maybe a past encounter with human detectives with Toon-hating attitudes?

Hmmm... I have to somewhat agree with Weasel Freak's theory on Smart Ass pickin' up on the 'I hate toons' aura or sometin... It seems like a reasonable exploration of why they hate eachother...

That's what i always thought. I wouldn't like it if somebody hated me on account of my race. (and it has happened to me on occasion  ) So i can understand why Smart Ass ain't too fond of toon-racist Valiant. And you know? Smart Ass handles it all very well i think. He doesn't resort to fighting with Valiant until the bar fight. Even after the soap is shoved in his mouth, Smart Ass keeps his cool and refrains from hurting Valiant. He could have shot him easily. But like we all know, Smart Ass has good self-control, so hats off to him! ^_^ |

i still think it's deeper than that. if he's just mad 'cause Eddie hates Toons, why aren't Greasy and Wheezy affected? if racial prejudice is the issue, wouldn't Greasy be most affected?

I thinks its about ALL toons in general. Probably doesn't matter what race they're were drawn as, for Eddie, as long as they're animated, he hates em.
But that's just my opinion.

I don't think Wheezy and Greasy paticularily like Valiant either. But i suppose it's possible that something may perhaps run deeper with Smart Ass's case; who's to say that can't be a possibility?
