Is there a Disney version of Brer Weasel? In the orginal stories there's basically a brer eveything; Brer Deer, Brer Mink, Brer Tiger....

Oh, there's a Disney version, all right. And he's been around since the Forties! I'm pretty sure he's nothing like the original.

As you may guess, I don't actually own any of these. There's the problem of money, and the problem of getting foreign comics for sale.
You'll probably notice that he's been made part of a group of other "Br'er" villains, called "The Foul Fellows Club"- Fox, Bear, and Buzzard... plus The Big Bad Wolf for some reason. I could've sworn that story was originally German or something, but now it takes place in the Deep South. Whatever.
He was originally American, but now he seems popular in the Netherlands. For some reason there are a lot of characters that are more popular in Europe than in the US.

...I like to think that he's Dwayne's grandfather. Remember him?
