I've been thinking about how in The Little Mermaid how they use a lot of sea puns on common phrases. For example: "cold fins" equals "cold feet", or something like that. I've been thinking the same thing with Toons. Here are some "Toon"-isms I've come up with:
I wish I was never drawn (born). In the paint (flesh).

Maybe "You scared the ink outta me" would fit as well, Keru. (Nickname for the unknown from me)

i think i got one. y'know how in Spongebob they say "Neptune" instead of God, as in "DEAR NEPTUNE!!!" well, I'm all for avoiding taking The LORD's name in vain, so i was thinking maybe Toons would say something like, "Sweet Warner Brothers!" or "Dear Disney!" huh? huh?

it also cracks me up when Spongebob and friends say things like "aw, shrimp", "shell-for-brains", etc. y'know, their minced oaths, because you can't swear in kid's shows. I know Benny and herman swear, but what would less hard-boiled Toons say to that effect?

Y'know the old term "water on the brain"? Toons could say "watercolors on the brain".
Less hardboiled Toons could say "lead" or "graphite" for brains, to answer psychoangel's question.

What does "Water on the Brain" mean?
Oh, um, what about "Aw, pencil shavings" and "Paint bucket for brains"?

What does "Water on the Brain" mean? Water on the brain is when you have an excess of fluids in your head, causing mental damage. Here's another one: A Sketchday. It's the Toon equivalent of a birthday, because Toons are drawn, not born.
